We heart Stephen Colbert

Happy New Year everyone! Sit back, pop another Advil and enjoy the last of our We heart installments…

How could we not love Stephen Colbert? His role as Chuck Noblet on the brilliant Strangers with Candy. The sorely missed “This Week in God” that he used to do on the Jon Stewart Show. All that darn truthiness. Watch The Colbert Nation on any given night and you are guaranteed to be entertained. And probably get more news than from your actual news report. How else would I have known that there is a coffee made from beans eaten then pooped by a rare cat.

But I think what I may love most about him is his ability to cut a rug. Oh, you didn’t know? Stephen has a love of dance unmatched by very few straight men, as proven by this You Tube tribute video, set to a Scissor Sisters song that might just make you want to dance along.

Everything Steve Colbert does is funny to me! I love that dance montage so much! I knew he was quite the dancer but to see all of them together is golden. I could watch this over and over and still giggle all the way through.

Stephen Colbert is hilarious. That montage is awesome! I always loved watching his moves at the end of Strangers With Candy. He’s got some serious groove!!

I love his quotes from Strangers with Candy! One of my favorites…”You can’t unfry things, Jerri.”
