Whole Lot of Mom Love
Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms at we heart this! We know that you don’t have a lot of time for lollygagging on the internet today – there are Moms to be feted, flowers to be arranged, breakfasts to be eaten in bed and, possibly, Mimosas to be drunk. Sadly, since both Stef and I live almost 3000 miles away from our Moms, we won’t be spending the day with Joan and Gayle. But we want them to know how much appreciate them, and admire them and love them and miss them very much!
If you do have a bit of time for some web love, may we suggest time spent contemplating Ten Ways Real Moms Are Much Better Than TV Moms over at the NPR blog, Monkey See. The always-insightful Linda Holmes (some of you may know her from her legendary recapping stint as Miss Alli over at Television Without Pity) ponders our love of television Moms who make decisions like allowing their apartment building superintendent full time access to the living room and two teenage daughters or dress their 8 year old daughter in a mini skirt and go-go boots.
Now, go spend some time, preferably outside, with your friends and family!

Thank you Tyna. I know I can speak for Gayle and my self when I say how proud we are of you two. No finer daughters ever walked this earth. You are both honorable women and very caring and good people. I love you like my own.
Happy Mothers day Joan and Gayle!! Your daughters awesomeness can only reflect one thing… their Moms RULE!!! Hope you have a great day!!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the WHT MOMMAS out there!
Joan’s words about Stef and Tyna touched my heart. Enjoy your day Joan and Gayle..
We love, love, love your girls! xoxoxo
Aww, thanks Joan – that is so lovely to hear! I hope you know I feel the same way about you. Stef and I are know we are so lucky to that we both have a second Mom supporting us and cheering us on in you and Gayle. Hope you had a fantastic and relaxing Mom Day!
I hope all you lovely Mamas had a nice day. I wish I could have given my Mom (and T’s) a big kiss today!
T-that NPR link is too funny. It’s worth it for the Brady Bunch “Time to Change” clip alone. Seriously, how big is Bobby Brady’s head?
Thanks girls for the lovely sentiment.
My day was at best, not dull. My new neighbors fed us for mothers day and it was very good. A few seconds latter, as we were eatting outside, the father started a fight with the teenaged son and proceded to have a fist fight on the front lawn. Food and entertainment!! As the son got his ass kicked and put his tail between his legs and ran away, he kicked the fathers car as hard as he could and dented it and the father ran after him. Now we have hot persuet through the parking lot. Food, entertainment and a chase.
My neighborhood! I’m glad I’m only here for five months. Too much of a good thing, you know.
I hope the rest of you had a nice relaxing Mothers day.
