Ec-Oooh-Chic bath & body – review

September 4, 2009 | By: Rebecca Z

eh-oooh-chicYou recycle your bottles and cans, use a water filter, and bring canvas bags with you when you go to the grocery store, but how is your shower routine helping the planet? If you can’t think of anything, don’t fret too much because Ooohlala of Beverly Hills has introduced Ec-Oooh-Chic, a new line of eco-friendly bath and body products. Perfect for washing away any guilt about your extra couple of minutes in the shower!

Ec-Oooh-Chic is divided into three lines of products: the Natural line, the All-Natural line, and the Organic line. The Natural line boasts products that are Paraben, TEA, and Sulfate free. They also contain only FDA-approved coloring and the highest quality blends of fragrance and essential oils. Products from the All-Natural line are made from the purest, all natural ingredients and have no added coloring. All products from the Organic line are made of at least 70% Organic Ingredients and are fragranced with Certified 100% Organic Essential Oils.

Ec-Oooh-Chic has a variety of products including body washes, lotions, shaving cream, scrubs, and the ever-so-tempting Papaya-Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. I was lucky to get to try their Citrine Rose Hydrating Body Lotion from the Natural line. I really liked that the scent was light and clean – not so strong that everyone in the immediate area will notice, but strong enough that those close to you will fall in love with it. It wasn’t greasy and best of all, my skin was soft all day long! Unlike so many other lotions I have used, my hands weren’t zapped of all moisture after washing them.

Thanks to Ec-Oooh-Chic, we can now pamper ourselves without sacrificing our planet!

  1. This line is super cute. It has kind of a young look to it, I think it would be a perfect way to introduce green products to a teenager just getting into beauty.

  2. That’s a great idea Stef! I could see my niece really loving this line. She’s a few years from a teen-ager but has been enthralled with my make up and toiletries bags since she was two.
Personally, I love the sound of the Papaya-Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. I’ve liked products with pumpkin or papaya as the base, so combining them sounds perfect!
