Who doesn’t love a gift bag? Come to the Raffle for the Rescues!

I know, I know; we’ve been doing a lot of posts about our involvement with the Race for the Rescues. But can you blame us? We couldn’t be more proud to be involved, as the Race has raised over $150,000 for the abandoned animals of Los Angeles. And with our Raffle for the Rescues you can help too! A simple donation of $5 or more will register you for over $5000 in prizes. (that’s my Ted with the raffle tickets)
Why should you, our Southern California readers, come to the Race? Because, while we are proud to be do-gooders, we would never poo-poo the thrill of a fabulous gift bag. And if you visit us at the event on October 4th, a fabulous gift bag is exactly what you will get. Well, the first 200 people who buy $20 in raffle tickets will!
But before we talk about the gift bags, some other news: we have also decided to put some last minute donations together into a we heart this natural extravaganza for the Silent Auction that will be held at the event. The basket has over a $400 value and contains:

Heh heh heh…I looked at this picture out of the corner of my eye and was like, “Wow, is that dog obscenely gifted!” and then I realized those were raffle tickets. Yeah, I’m filthy. It’s such a cute pup, though! :)
