The search is on for our next Pet of the Month…
Have you entered your furry best friend for Pet of the Month yet? As promised, we’ll be crowning another winner December 1st. To add to the excitement, we wanted to announce the prize for the next wearer of the POTM tiara.
As we mentioned in our review, the generous folks over at McBride Beauty donated some of their amazing products to the we heart this Raffle for the Rescues, including a prize basket and generous travel sizes of their Grapefruit and Sage body products for our gift bags.
We have one extra set of the complete Grapefruit and Sage collection; Moisture Lotion, Body Wash, Daily Conditioner and Shampoo (travel bag not included) as the prize for our next winner. These TSA approved sized tubes of luxurious McBride staples travel well, are unisex and are perfect for the upcoming travel season.
In the spirit of the Raffle for the Rescues the December winner will be a rescued pet. Whether your friends found him in a bucket in their front yard (how I got my Giles) or you found him on the side of the road (that’s how Stef found dog #4!) or adopted him through an animal rescue (Winnie found her Benny through The Rescue Train), please share your stories with us!
We will be taking submissions until Midnight, Sunday, November 29th for the December 1st announcement. So if you are a wht member and think your pet has what it takes, please email us a photo and 100 words telling us why your pet should be next up for the crown!
All entries will be held for future Pet of the Month giveaways as well, so even if you don’t win this one-you may still be featured in upcoming months.

Our “favorite” pet is a cat that’s still an outdoor cat, befriended enough to allow petting and has his food dish filled daily, but still reluctant to come indoors, he is gorgeous!
Oddly enough, my rescued pet is (was) a hamster that died on Friday. Eighteen months ago, I was in the local pet store and noticed a hamster all by himself in a cage. Someone had returned him, so for $5, Fergus became ours. He had a hole in one ear and was quite nervous, but soon became a much-loved member of our family. We all cried when he died from cancer last week.
Oh Chris, that’s terrible. I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s nice you were able to give him 18 happy months though, poor lil’ guy.
Angela, what’s the kitty’s name?

I am a proud mom of a rescue kitty named Dottie. She was found by Pet Control. Someone had tried to throw her off of a bridge onto the freeway and her little head got caught in the railing of the over pass. They thankfully found her and her neck healed. She was the pet of the week on the news after that and I simply feel in love with her. The next day I went to the Humane Society and met her. We instantly bonded and I adopted her. She is my pride and joy and the sweetest cat I have ever known.
