This weeks 4 for Friday Etsy finds was a bit of a gimmee – everyone is eyeing up calendars right now! And what’s not to love about a great calendar? It combines my love of paper, art, lists and organizing into one pretty little package.
If your still looking for the perfect calendar to guide you through 2010, get on over to etsy! You’ll find unique, handmade datebooks and calendars for desks, walls, fridges and more. My picks this week (clockwise from top left):
• I know Stef will approve of this 2010 Letterpress Calendar that offers accessible art with a jumble of hand drawn sketches of everyday objects (cameras, socks, chairs, scissors) letter pressed on “super duper heavy French cardstock”. This lovingly crafted calendar would look great hung in your home office or braced against the kitchen counter. $24
• Do you adore all things French? Here’s an amazing way to declare that love while making a big décor splash with the added benefit of always knowing the date! This stunning piece, the Perpetual Paris Photo Collage and Perennial Calendar is created with 49 photographs of Paris “that captures the essence of the city at street level.” Measuring about 3 by 3 feet, the photographs can be easily rearranged and rehung as the months go by, giving you an ever-changing piece of art. $49
• This one is not really my style, but I know a number of Moms that would heart it! (Check the Luxford St Etsy shop for the same planner with simpler, graphic covers if that’s your taste) This Weekly Planner is hand-covered with retro printed cotton from the Alexander Henry range and has a black and white polka dotted cotton on the spine. I especially adore the tape measure page marker – cute and clever! $29
• If your motto is the simpler the better, check out the twenty 10 calendar. A weekly planner with wire binding, 100% recycled chipboard covers and page insets made with 50% recycled paper. You’ll see super clean graphics and text inside this weekly planner, plus monthly calendars and a full page for notes at the beginning of each month. This is a great one for those that like placing a big, fat checkmark next to their “To Do” items! $30
