For Christmas, I will be visiting my son as he will be leaving for his second deployment in Iraq in January. I have not seen him for over a year as he lives in a different state. Also, he and his wife just had Grandchild #6 and I will be seeing her for the very first time. I will wear the palette makeup for Christmas Eve-Yippee!!!
Christmas will be spent with the in-laws with a big family dinner. Thankfully, Christmas is on a Saturday so it’ll be a holiday here in Kuwait :) Imagine working on a Christmas morning! haha.. Hopefully have a nice day out at the beach too, where if I win this palette, it’ll be making its debut ;)
This set is super fab, I love having everything at hand and that deep red gloss is so ME!
I’m hosting this year for the first time ever, so having everything at hand so I can still look glam FAST for Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Years Eve would be fantastic. And yes, those necklaces would be perfect with that little black dress with the plunging neckline for NYE celebrations! :-)

I am praying everyday that my mom is able to come for the holidays from France. I already have a reservation at a great restaurant downtown for New Years Eve for all of us, just in case. We start the week before Christmas with a girls-only shopping trip, liberally laced with cocktails. But I will spend the holidays moving between family festivities..casual, relaxed…full of warmth and love.
We recently moved closer to family, so it looks like it will be a lot of family get togethers for my holidays. I’ll also be working, which is the perfect place to experiment with the colors in this set. Gotta leave my coworkers wondering what comes next!

This year I will be spending 11-7 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the nursing home where I work. Christmas Eve (early) will be spent with my family, mostly at my sister’s, but I’ll also make a trip to the nursing home where my mom lives and spend some time with her. Christmas Day, I’ll sleep most of the time so I can get up and go back to work. Wearing the products from this palette would give me a boost and make me look nice for my residents. (Long story as to why I am working both holidays)
I bought a New Year’s Eve dress already – it was a fluke! I’m so relieved to have something to wear already but I don’t yet have an event. I know that I am going to wear that dress if I have to walk up and down the streets of Venice alone! hehe I’d not mind pairing it up with these shades either. The dress is long on flair, short in hem and fair in color…could use my eyes to be intense drama that this Tarte palatte delivers!

WE LOVE MAKE UP! My family has an annual tradition of taking my now 13 year old to see the Pacific NW Ballet’s Nutcracker, with set designed by Maurice Sendack, and we love to dress up! We would BOTH use the amazing pallette…
My daughter loves going every year and has been inspired to dance herself. She is in her ballet school’s performance of the Nutcracker every year also :)

For the Holidays… I’ll be working. Corporate Retail means I work all day everyday during the holidays. BUT I’ll also be attending soirees, Holiday parties, get togethers and what not.. I’d definitely be using the Tarte Box for black tie parties where it’s all glitz and glam. and hopefully I get to Fly east to visit the mister, Tarte Jewelry Box will definitely be in my carry on if I make the trip! woo* :)

First, thank you for your generosity! I am so excited to even have a chance at winning this, as Tarte is the only eye makeup I can wear. I will be using it for various fundraisers for the homeless little cats and dogs along with many educational talks for schools, Rotary clubs, etc.regarding the pet overpopulation,solutions and proper pet care. This would be purrfect as some are black tie and some casual. Thank you for the opportunity :)
as i have completely alienated myself from as many as humanly possible, i will spend the holidays locked inside my apartment, hovering under the comforter. i would do a completely outrageous look with this palette cuz only george and norton, my cats, will see me. and they won’t laugh. only because they know where their kibble comes from….
ok, so I have three small children and am muslim, needless to say, I will not be going anywhere or doing anything this holiday season. However, I love make up and have been known (amoungst myself) to get totally made up and hang with my dvr once my kids go to bed. This awesome pallete would really keep me company!

Full calendar for Holidays 2010 – Don’t want to be seen with same make-up application when (so far) I will be attending (2) Christmas Parties, (2) family gatherings and will be seen at shopping malls. :)

My holiday plans include the standard fitting in of an 11 hour drive to the hubby’s and my family, marathon visits with his family, my family, and the friends from college and high school that stayed local, then another 11 hour drive home. I’d use this palette for all the holidays and probably for every day too :) I’ll be cooking for everyone on “every” holiday until New Year’s Day. On Thanksgiving I’ll go subtle with the makeup, them more glam for Hanukkah and Christmas (celebrate both). This could be a great time saver for me too!
