Holiday at Sephora: Smashbox – The Gold List

Gift number 2 on our Ten Last Minute Holiday Gifts at Sephora list is a something that not only gives to you (or the recipient) but to others too. With each purchase from the Smashbox WISH collection, Smashbox will donate $1 to Children’s Miracle Network. Gotta love a gift that gives back!

There were several Wish sets this year, but I think The Gold List (limited edition) is the dark horse of the bunch. Beautiful, but kind of unassuming until you get the chance to play with it. It comes with:

Fusion Soft Lights in Baked Starburst – a beautiful bronzer that can be swept for all over, subtle color, or used individually on eyes for natural, luminous color.
Photo Finish Luminzing Foundation Primer – meant to be used all over, I think this will be beautiful as a spot highlighter; use anywhere you want to highlight with light catching particles.
O-Gloss Gold – oh, this is exciting! Smashbox’s famous chameleon gloss, this version goes on a disco gold but changes to an extremely flattering pinky-peach with shimmer. Only sold in this kit!
Photo Op Under Eye Brightener - this has a following that swear by it’s brightening qualities. I’ve heard it’s not only great under the eyes, but on the brow bone.
Gold metallic cosmetic case – a beautiful basket weave case, and the perfect long and shallow size for brushes!

And what a steal! It’s a $108 value for just $49!

@pinkshaya – I was thinking something very similar. As a lifelong brunette golds do not work with me. But this set would be the perfect gift for some of my blond friends.

Smashbox makes great gift sets every year and I got a nice look at this one. Even if the products are not a perfect match for me, the bag is totally sweet – a nice gold (not too flash) and great size (you could fit any length brush inside) with a zipper that goes around the corners (easier for stuffing things in there) and it lays FLAT. Love it!

This has such a great group of products!! There’s not a single one that isn’t completely an A+. Fusion soft lights perfects your skin with the sweep of a powder. I love the luminizing primers mixed in with your foundation, too! I love a little glow!

@Stef – I wanna see those O-gloss gold pictures! I loved the original…I bet the gold is fabulous!

Okay, so I may need this for the O-Gloss gold…I got a tube of the O-Gloss w/ shimmer in a previous offering from Sephora and LOVED it, so I have to believe this is even more fantastic. Y’all need to post some of the O-gloss pics or I need to get to Sephora STAT.

What a great set! I’ve never tried any of these products, but the original primer is my most favorite, so a luminizing one – wowee!! And I too need that under eye brightener now…I thought all my shopping was done but now I’m considering just ONE more trip.

While I didn’t purchase this exact gift set, I did get a Smashbox Complexion Perfection set for my own stocking this year. So wishing I would have seen this one too because that O-Gloss Gold looks gorgeous! I placed two giant orders with Sephora this year and got all my older nieces a gift set of some sort. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be their favorite aunt this year.

Oh wow, O-gloss gold looks really awesome. I wasn’t too thrilled by the regular O-gloss (Sephora was selling them for only $9 a pop a few months ago!)…but I’m willing to give it a shot. It’s so shiny and pretty! I need to try Photo-Op it seems. I love giving “cult products” a try and I’m a sucker for new eye creams and brighteners. What can I say, I never get enough sleep!
