We’re giving away five bottles of the latest BPAL Halloweenies to one lucky goblin…
If you know us at all (and if you don’t, nice to meet you!), you know we have a long standing love affair with BPAL. This Halloween, lovely flowers and dried leaves mixed with the spicy pumpkins and sugary treats that waft through the collection, causing that love affair to get even more hot and heavy than usual. And we want to share the love, ’cause that’s what we do!
The winner will receive:
Candied Pumpkin – a traditional Dia de los Muertos ofrenda: sweet pumpkin cooked with piloncillo, orange juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, fresh ginger, maple syrup, honey, and clove.
Sonnet D’Automne – a shivering white musk with vanilla-infused white cocoa, amber incense, and dead, dry leaves.
Ghosts in Love – White sandalwood, tobacco flower, lily of the valley, white carnation, and magnolia blossom with tea rose, labdanum, and oudh.
La Calavera Catrina – Autumn leaves, wild roses, bourbon vanilla, dry chamomile, and a bouquet of bright chrysanthemums and Mexican marigolds.
Pumpkin Princess – Bright, sweet pumpkin with vanilla fluff, guava, chocolate-dusted white amber, tiare, red currant, raw honey, and meringue.

My favorite scent for Halloween is October. I have the 2007 version and now 2011. Love it.
I love the smell of burning leaves on a crisp (not freezing – I’m looking at you, Colorado!) fall night. Double bonus if it’s actly ON Halloween!

Oh man. I feel so cliche saying it… but pumpkin has to win. Pumpkin with a little bit of cinnamon.
Even though it’s usually associated with Christmas, I love the scent of hot apple cider on Halloween. It’s cold, but not TOO cold and the smell of fall and warm cider is so nummy!

Outdoors, autumn is damp leaves and fireworks. Indoors, it’s spices, baked apples and pumpkin.

My favorite Fall scent is that first cool day when you can actually smell the new season in the air. It’s just fresh and crisp and beautiful.
My favorite scent associated with Halloween is actually Burned Pumpkin. It reminds me of a wonderful Halloween where pumpkins were carved, doused in lighter fluid, set on fire, and tossed off the top of a fire tower. Burning Pumpkin always makes me remember that favorite Halloween memory. ;)
I’m from Europe so we never did the Halloween thing much but ever since moving to New York this year I’ve gotten more in touch with the local traditions and found a scent I rather like. I keep some of Lush’s new soap Pumpkin in my medicine cabinet so that every time I open it I get this wonderfully warm, spicy, pumpkiny scent that makes me want to curl up in a sofa with my bf and sip something warm and sweet. Given that it started snowing in New York today I might end up doing just that too!

I just love the smell of clean, cold air. In Texas it usually doesn’t even start to get cold until around Halloween, so to me, it’s the scent I associate with my favorite season! I’m new to your blog and I’m liking it a lot!

My favorite scent associated with Halloween is by far pumpkin! The pumpkin is the epitome of Fall and it smells divine. It also makes great food too!
I always go nuts for pumpkin-based scents in the fall. This is also when I start looking for cozier, sweeter notes like vanilla or amber — those can turn cloying or overpowering in spring and summer, but they’re perfect as the weather turns cooler.

I have been making all sorts of yummy pumpkin treats, so I am highly down with the smell of brown sugar and pumpkin. Those two things go so well together!

I’m a longtime fan of BPAL, and I’ve always liked their limited edition scents around Fall/Winter. My favourite fall scents would have to be woodsmoke carried on a cool wind and the smell of the kitchen around the holidays when my relatives and I are all cooking/baking our signature dishes and desserts.
