Breaking news for Benefit Cosmetic lovers (and I know we have lots of them here at wht): the San Francisco beauty brand is introducing their FIRST liquid foundation, Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation.

Available nationwide in March 2012, a little birdie told us there will be a One Day Sneak Peek Sale over at HSN.com on Thursday, February 2nd.

We love Benefit for consistently offering easy to use, effective products that target our biggest concerns. And their first dip into liquid foundation, promises more of the same.

Available in 9 shades, Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Liquid Foundation ($34) is not the mask-like coverage of yore. Benefit offers an oil-free, buildable formula with hydrating ingredients and a featherweight feel that gives the full coverage of foundation.

So far we’re loving the pump applicator – it has more precision than most we’ve seen, excellent for getting just the right amount of product. Plus, when you reach the bottom of the bottle, the screw off cap allows access to every last drop.

Is Benefit’s first liquid foundation worth MacGyvering your way to the bottom of the bottle? All signs point to yes. For now, we’re sending out some preview bottles to our trusty review team and we’ll be back with the full scoop on the Hello Flawless Liquid Foundation soon.

Until then, head on over to HSN to get a bottle of your own and meet me in the comments to talk all things Benefit!

I think I’m a foundation junkie and I’m always up for trying something new. I’m interested in this one, it sounds pretty good. I’m curious how dark the range goes, usually my skin tone is the darkest value and clearly I’m not the brownest.

Me too – I’m on the hunt for a good, high coverage foundation. Looks like a decent selection of shades @dwj1 – they have nine hues (so not too limited but not large either). The Amber shade seen above is towards the darker range of shades – it’s their third darkest with Nutmeg and Toasted Beige listed after it.

I can not wait to try this liquid foundation. I love my tinted moisturizers, but sometimes I need a little more coverage. I normally hate the feeling of heavier foundations so Benefit’s sounds promising. Plus, I’m a huge fan of their face products (I use their Erase Paste and Eye Highlighter Pencil every time I put on makeup) so I’ve got faith Benefit will do foundations just right.

I just laughed because I’m always a nut shade in foundation. I bet I’m nutmeg in this range. I’ll definitely have to check it out. It sounds divine.

This foundation seems really awesome! I love the font they used for their packaging. I am in the market for a foundation. Maybe i’ll check out the site tomorrow :) I hope they have a match for my fickle skintone…light to medium with yellow undertones.

The packaging is just PERFECT–why don’t more makeup companies do that?! But I’m leery of products that say that their ingredients will do something they’re not scientifically proven to do. This foundation may be great, but I wish that companies would move away from the marketing trend of having some ingredient plastered all over the packaging, and then make exaggerated claims.

For anyone who wants a chance at the ENTIRE range for FREE- check out Houseparty.com. It’s a site where you can have “house parties” where you check out new products (food products are a pretty common one) and they’re having a Benefit. It’s a fun site to use!

Now you have to promise that if you’re a party host and you got the idea from me you must give me a bottle of Hello Flawless in my shade, hahah!

I am a big fan of the HELLO FLAWLESS powder already. I LOVE that they kept the color names the same in this line. I already know the color “petal” worked for me in the powder foundation. I am thrilled they did not come up with another batch of names and color formulations.

I can’t wait to here what people think of this formulation.
