etsy 4 for Friday – Wearing of the Green

We may officially still be in winter’s grip, but the signs of the spring season are starting to appear and bits of green are sprouting up all over. And get ready to see a lot more of the cheery color as Saint Patrick’s Day is right around the corner.

When I was growing up, to keep yourself from getting pinched on the 17th, one made sure to wear a little (or a lot) of green. So this 4 for Friday I’m looking to Etsy to find a little green (and hopefully some Irish luck) for everyone in the family:

And since I believe pets are totally part of the family, we’re starting with this Luck O’ The Irish Dog Collar. This made to order collar can be customized to fit any dog and features an argyle type design in various shades of green and oodles of shamrocks. $19

For wee little ones, you can’t get much cuter than this Baby Leprechaun Hat. This bright green hat with a black and yellow ‘buckle’ is hand crocheted and made to order so it can be made for heads of any size – infant through adult. $30

Get your guy into the St. Paddie’s spirit with this rocking Irish T-Shirt. Inspired by the classic ACDC logo, this kelly green 50/50 poly cotton blend tee has a vintage look thanks to the washed out Irish script. $10.95

Finally, add some glamour to the day with this fab St. Patricks Day Mini Top Hat. Completely hand-crafted, this little hat clips right into hair and stands 4 inches tall. The festive topper is covered in black fabric with green shamrocks and gold glitter and is accented with black and green feathers and green clover wires held together by a green carnation. $30

Readers – will you be wearing the green on St. Patrick’s Day?

Oh gosh, I see this baby hat the day after receiving a friend’s birth announcement for her brand new baby boy, Seamus O’Neill! Of course I immediately followed your Etsy link to purchase it for him. I got him the 3-6 month size because I know with a name like Seamus he won’t wear it only on St. Paddy’s!

Boy is that hat cute or what!! If I only had a child to put it on! I like being 3/4 Irish and 1/4 Italian. There is so much fun that automatically comes along with it.. and I’m such a fool for a good joke, Irish food and love to laugh! Great pics!
