The Lipstick League – week of 4.16.12

While looking through my photos this week for a shot of some beautiful makeup that would make you all happy, I came across this photo of me and one of my dogs Lou Lou. I might not have on a stitch of makeup, but this may very well be a glimpse of the very definition of happy!

Hope you all have a weekend filled with moments like this.

On to the League…

Question of the Week: – If you could eliminate one thing from your morning beauty routine, so that you never had to do it again, what would it be?

Answer: Doing my hair, without a doubt. If I never had to do it again, think of all the time I’d have for lip gloss selection!

Lipglossiping – flies high with a BareMinerals Pretty Amazing Lip Color that has been designed exclusively for Virgin Atlantic (and the exits are: here, here and here).

Nouveau Cheap – A matte top coat that you can buy at the drugstore for only $1.99…that actually works? Yup, it’s true.

Awww! What a cute picture @stef – that LouLou is so gosh darn loveable! I need to go snuggle with my cat right now…

All right, I’m back. As for the question of the week, while I don’t do it every morning, the shower ritual I wish I could do once and be done with is shaving my legs. Hate it. So time consuming, I always miss a bit of leg somewhere, and you just have to do it again a day or two later. Plus razors are so expensive. Boo.

Love this picture of you both!
If I could lose doing one thing in the morning it would be my hair.. Yes, without a doubt! @tyna, my advise is to shave only on weekends or when you are sporting your legs! I could kick myself real hard today.. I could’ve had my hair removed by laser on my legs and bikini line a few years back by my sister-in-law.. She was doing it out of her house and all I had done was my dang arm pits! What was I thinking!!?

Crazy doggy cuteness! And, yeah, count me in on the hair (all of it) thang. I’m horribly low maintenance when it comes to hair (on my head, I mean). Wash-N-Go, that’s me. Hair dryers are for special occasions. And hot rollers? Well, I broke ‘em out for my wedding!
And @tyna, I always miss a patch somewhere, too–no matter how thorough I think I’m being. I do love Intuition razors…with them, I’ve done some of my best work.
