The Lipstick League – week of 12.3.12

December 8, 2012 | By: stef andrews

We’re talking stocking stuffers in this edition of the this Lipstick League! One of the cuter ones we’ve seen is the tarte Picture Perfect set ($16); their Picture Perfect eyelash curler paired with Lights Camera Lashes Mascara. We asked our tester Holly to give it a spin. Here’s her report…

Tarte’s Picture Perfect is proof good things do come in small packages. This kit comes with an ergonomic eyelash curler with an easy grip and a deluxe sample of their famous mascara, Lights Camera Lashes. I can attest, this duo has helped my eyes/lashes look wider awake than they should during a busy holiday season! If you are a curler novice, never fear this product is very easy to use and delivers effortless curled lashes.

Now here’s what’s keeping the league looking fresh this week…

  1. Great mini review, Holly! I need to remember to use my eyelash curler more often… especially during the holidays, when I’m feeling run ragged from all of the events and shopping.

  2. Call me a rule breaker but, I like to buy a couple different holiday beauty sets and break them up for friends. This way everyone gets an assortment from a couple collections. (It also makes me feel good because I ADORE/COVET many holiday collections and then do not have the pressure of picking just ONE perfect one.)

  3. You may be breaking the rules Holly @hao9703 – but I think that’s a brilliant idea. Everyone gets a taste of different brands and you can sort the colors so people get they best ones for their coloring. Smart – and must make wrapping your presents and sorting the goodies so much fun – I love playing Santa.

  4. I HAVE to remember to use my eyelash curler too! It always makes such a dramatic difference, but it’s low on my list when I’m punched for time. I just got my nieces a cute little Snow Angel Hand Cream from Philosophy, they always have great ideas for stocking stuffers.

    • Agreed. Philosophy has great gift sets too! Little 2 oz. of their body washes and such. They’d be perfect for @hao9703 brilliant idea of breaking sets up for people!
