It’s best of week here at we heart this! We’re celebrating Independence Day by taking a little break over the quintessential summer holiday. So this week we’ll be bringing you some popular summertime posts. While I carry an oversized tote to the beach or pool, on a summer night I want a small bag that isn’t weighing me down. Here’s a great DIY to make a little clutch purse to carry just the essentials for a night on the town ~ wht

Purses are a great statement piece that can complete an outfit, which is probably why I own so many and I keep buying or creating more. I love this DIY because it allows me to can keep all my cards and money organized when I’m out on the town and it still looks like a clutch purse.

You can use different supplies for this project if studs are not your thing. Shiny gems or sequins would look great for a wedding or party (and can be found at any local craft store) or try a pretty ribbon in place of the elastic for a different texture that pops against the wallet. Just remember the most important thing is to have fun and be creative!
