Nail Polish Porn: Orly Sparkling Garbage

Trash never looked so pretty!

Orly Sparkling Garbage

Date: July 14, 2013
Polish: Orly Sparkling Garbage; a sheer dirty green base PACKED with rainbow holographic glitter.

Orly Mash Up

Part of Orly’s punk-named Mash Up collection, Sparkling Garbage in the bottle was the showstopper of the bunch for me. I mean, just look at it…

Orly Sparkling Garbage

Sadly when it was applied it just didn’t have the same impact that it did in the bottle. (Check out Vampy Varnish’s photos of it on its own.)

But two coats over a teal creme base and now you’re talking! It’s shown here over Face Stockholm #104 (named Peacock.) The rainbow holo glitter has a dark background in which to shine. And shine it does.

Orly Sparkling Garbage

As I’ve said before. I love the ORLY design all around; a rubber gripped handle, an old school round brush and a big ol’ bottle. These very well may be my favorite polish packaging design (big praise coming from a packaging snob like myself.)

we heartsters, do you think this as dazzling as I do?

Stef is many things. Amongst them: co-editor of we heart this, graphic designer, Philly girl in the California desert, borderline hoarder and a hardcore beauty junkie.

Ooooooooooooooooooooo, *eyes smashed to computer* I want, I want I WANT THIS COLOR!!!!!!

In other news, is it just me or do you dislike the new Orly logo? It’s so 90s. (Sort of a brat about nail bottles.)

That is so not garbage. Okay, if it’s garbage, it’s galaxy garbage that I want 500 back ups of.
