I try do more exfoliating during the winter because that is when more dry skin tends to get built up and I also like to hydrate with a body cream instead of a body lotion that doesn’t tend to last that long.

I moisturize in the morning as well as in the evening with a basic lotion but I also use a heavier creme for my knees/elbows/dry spots and I always make sure to wear gloves to protect my hands from the cold weather. I also wear lip balm outside to protect my lips.

Extra-dry skin like on dry upper arms can trigger a flare-up of keratosis pilaris, that annoying rough skin.
TIP- Try a lotion with salicylic acid to exfoliate dead cells around your hair follicles and reduce the appearance of bumps.

Exfoliate as needed with my Clairsonic with the Eucerin cleanser which leaves me balanced and not dry and sometimes I use coconut oil to moisturize. Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil for my cuticles makes a HUGE difference.

I have incredibly dry skin. While most people will say stay hydrated and use lots of moisturizer especially during the cold winter months, when turning up the heat makes the skin even drier, zapping it of every ounce of moisture, I think the 2 best suggestions I could make are:

Make sure you find moisturizing products especially formulated for super dry skin and

get a humidifier or 2 for your bedroom and maybe the living room so you will be constantly adding moisture to your house, countering the affects of the dry heat being pumped into your home throughout the winter by the heater.

For me, I have yet to find a great hydrating program for my skin. Eucerin is a well known moisturizer, especially used to combat dry skin so I’m very excited about the chance to possibly try these wonderful products.

Thank you for another fabulous giveaway and good luck to all.

OMG, my husband and I were just talking about Eucerin this very second! I’m not kidding. What we were saying is that it seems like we’re forever trying to get the last bit out of the tube- neither one of us remembers when we’ve had a full tube! So if by chance any Eucerin folks are listening, PLEASE make a larger tube of your remarkable Intensive Repair Hand Cream. When an entire family uses it, it’s gone within a week! And it’s cold out now, so we Midwesterners practically bathe in the stuff. Need. More. Stat.
    Love it.

Oh, and my tip is that I put the Eucerin Intensive Repair hand cream on while my hands are slightly damp- that seems to lock in extra moisture, plus it absorbs faster!
(And I carry a tube of Eucerin where ever I go…)
