Biggest splurge or steal in my closet

Steal–Levi’s 501 from Salvation Army about 15 years ago. They fit perfectly everywhere. I still have them, even though they’re almost see through.

do-gooder: Why I am one

I rescue animals. All my pets have been rescues. At one point, I had 13 kitties–6 adopted by me, and the rest either straggled in or were abandoned in our yard by their owners. I had all my kitties spayed/neutered and they all lived long, happy lives. Drew, the last of my original brood, died last year at 15.

home & living:My favorite room in my house

My makeup room. It’s really a small bathroom that doubles as a makeup room and craft room. It’s got a huge window that lets in lots of sunshine.

beauty & fashion: I can skip these

Dresses. I love how they look, just not on me.

eat, drink, be merry: Tell us your go to meal

I love to cook, and I’ll try to cook just about anything. Unfortunately the results aren’t always edible. My go-to meal of late is Lazy Person’s Baked Ziti: rotini pasta, Hunt’s spaghetti sauce, low fat ricotta & mozzarella. My husband has the taste buds of a 5 year old so he thinks it’s good. :-)

If I were an 80’s movie/tv/music star, I’d be

Siouxsie Sioux
