I’ve always been thrifty. Always loved a good sale and have always been a thrift store shopper. I’m never impressed when someone tells me how expensive something was (yawn). But tell me how cheap something was, tell me how it was marked down 50% and you had a coupon for an additional 10% and you’ve got my interest. What can I say, bargains thrill me.
That’s why I heart Ebay. It’s like an online yard sale. The biggest, baddest cyber yard sale known to mankind. Sure, just like regular yard sales-there’s a lot of junk. But sift through it and you can find treasures like a Virgin Mary toast press, or a black velvet nudie painting, or the ultimate pair of vintage heels. You can find anything you desire, for less than you’d pay for it in a store. In the future I’ll be bringing you tips for buying and selling (I’ve done a lot of both), along with finds you may want to scoop up for yourselves. But for now, let me just share with you some things similar to ones that I’ve bought for myself over the past year…
I’ve got a real love for vintage chick anything. These salt and pepper shakers would look lovely in my collection.
I’m also the only non smoker I know who collects both vintage ashtrays and matchbooks. The irony is not lost on me.
A new obsession of mine is miniature paintings. You can find a lot of really beautiful and inexpensive art on Ebay.
I’m a total purse whore. Show me a great bag, especially in an unexpected color like this gorgeous Kenneth Cole clutch and I have a hard time resisting.
I kid myself all the time that I don’t need the latest limited edition MAC product. Of course, the minute it sells out, my heart breaks. Luckily for me, I can find it here. Like the instant classic Cult Of Cherry lip glass. The most perfect opaque red gloss on the planet.
I can never have enough old records, especially 7 inch’s. This one is especially close to my heart.
All of these items are available now-snatch them up before it’s too late!
