Live a charmed life with this easy and stylish DIY!
Necklaces are a great accessory that can easily bump up any outfit, and they are so easy to make. Once you have all the supplies, this jewelry DIY will only take you a few minutes to complete.
• Crimp Rings
Note: To find neat necklace charms I suggest eBay, they have unique finds at such great prices, just don’t be in a rush to receive them. In fact, eBay is where I found the feather charms you see in this DIY. Additionally keep your eyes out at thrift stores, yard sales and the like for charms to use in future DIY projects.
1. Measure out a piece of chain to the length you want your necklace to be.
2. Open up one of the crimp rings using the pliers and slide on one of the charms.
3. Find the middle of the chain and attach the crimp ring with the charm on it to one of the holes.
4. Repeat these steps with how many charms you decide to put on your necklace.
Tip: Make sure you count the spaces between each charm for an even, consistent look.
That’s all there is to it! I went with an all gold look here, but feel free to mix it up with various colored chains and charms. You could also make a few necklaces of similar styles in varying lengths, and wear them at once for a great layered look.
Readers – How many necklaces do you own? Do you wear all of them or just your favorites (over and over)?
