Forget New Year’s resolutions, come mid January I normally have grown weary of winter-y weather and am dreaming of a great vacation. And while a white sandy beach and a tropical cocktail sounds great right now, if you recently traveled for the holidays you’ll recall that packing and airports can kind of suck. So this week, we’re playing a round of 3 things, all about traveling.
Bags: Carry on or check in? Check in. I like to travel light while traipsing through the airport. Plus, I’m short and always have issues trying to put bags in the overhead bins.
The single item you MUST pack for a flight: If I plan on trying to get some sleep, my neck pillow. I know they look dorky but I love mine.
Share your best traveling or packing tip: Get a large, lightweight duffel to use as your carry-on. My favorite is the weekender from LeSportsac. I can fit my pillow, Kindle, a sweater and my various flight accessories PLUS my chock-full everyday purse inside and carry it cross shoulder around the airport. As a bonus it fits under an airplane seat, so I always have my essentials within easy reach.
Your turn, we heartsters. Cut and paste the following into the comments and tell us these 3 Things!
