Celebrate Spring with tarte’s Ethereal Pink Lipstick and Celebrated Blush

The ladies of we heart this have been huge fans of the tarte beauty brand for years. tarte founder Maureen Kelly created the brand with the aim of providing natural products that make all women feel beautiful. I would say that tarte has done that and much more. The company is now celebrating 15 successful years of natural beauty.

The 15 year celebration is being commemorated by a special limited edition collection, Tartelette. The company feels that this is “a versatile collection for women who break the mold”. The collection is meant to honor the unique spirit and beauty of the women who wear tarte, the Tartelettes.

The Tartelette collection consists of three wonderful pieces: the Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette (click to see our review and swatches!), and the limited edition Amazonian Butter lipstick in Ethereal Pink and collector’s edition Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush in Celebrated.

The Tartelette Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush in the collector’s edition shade, Celebrated ($26), is fantastic. Honestly, I think tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-hour blushes are simply amazing. I had all but given up on powder blush several years ago, until this blush came on the market.

Powder blush typically looks streaky on me, emphasizes my pores, and wears away quickly. Typical powder blush makes me resemble what you might imagine Miss Havisham from Great Expectations would look like. It tends to age me in not a great way.

But tarte changed all of this with their Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush. It is easy to apply. It looks natural. It helps you to look younger and healthier. This blush never calls attention to my pores, and truly lasts throughout the day.

This new limited edition shade, Celebrated, is a warm pink nude that I imagine would flatter any skin tone. It is a beautifully understated shade that compliments any natural look. The packaging is also gorgeous, with a peach/pink compact highlighted by festive gold lettering and gold confetti.

The Tartelette Amazonian Butter Lipstick in the limited edition shade Ethereal Pink is lovely. I have also been a fan for several years of tarte’s Amazonian Butter lipstick. The lipstick is a creamy formula that feels comfortable and is non-drying. For such a creamy formula, the colors are very pigmented.

The limited edition shade Ethereal Pink is a soft and neutral pink. It is a universally flattering shade that should complement almost any skin tone. It is lovely on its own, but also blends well with other shades. Ethereal Pink is a great shade that also seamlessly enhances any natural beauty look.

I love that the packaging is recycled, but I must caution you to keep them away from dogs and children. (Just trust me on this!) The lipstick has gorgeous purple packaging with that festive gold lettering and gold confetti.
