Win this giveaway and feed your wanderlust with Jolly Roger oil and Port Royal soap, courtesy of our pals at BPAL. Whether you fancy yourself a wench or just long for a complex, rich scent that transports you; the Port Royal oil infused soap is for you.
The Sodom of the New World! — touted as the richest and wickedest city in all creation! Port Royal was the center of 17th century Caribbean commerce, a notorious safe harbor for pirates, and the site of our third flagship store, which was, sadly, destroyed in the earthquake of 1692. Spiced rum and ship’s wood mixed with the body-warmed trace of a prostitute’s perfume and a hint of salty sea air on the dry-down.
Meanwhile, the Jolly Roger oil will only add to your wanderlust with its heady mix of “sea spray with an undercurrent of leather, Bay Rum, and salty, dry woods”.

I love BPAL …I smell good because of them. :)
I associate memories with scent, so there are FAR too many lovely smells for me to pick from! I really love the smell of the apple farms near my home; the foggy mountain air, crisp fall leaves, apples, the distant smell of smoke and fire, cinnamon…yum.
I already smell like the horsehead nebula.
Destinations, hmm…
Maybe the fictional lands in “Middle Earth” or “Pern”.
But then again how about Dr. Who location inspired fragrances. Examples being the Time Lord’s home world of “Gallifrey”, the planet-sized book repository called “The Library”, or the time machine “TARDIS”. Yeah, the “TARDIS” is an infinite space that defies time and spatial logic. I bet that one would be a strong scent morpher.

The TARDIS or Gallifrey would be awesome. Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and Narnia would be awesome as well. And if BPAL didn’t already have a Mad Tea Party range, I would say Wonderland for sure! I’m adore Norse mythology, so Asgard (or even Bifrost, the rainbow bridge) would be pretty neat as well. It’s too difficult to choose just one!
I would like to smell like Hawaii.

I have three places for different moods:
Hercule Poirot’s office (expensive old-fashioned perfume, creme de cassis, a touch of mild lemon soap, paper from the many letters begging for help, and a touch of milky tea from Miss Lemon’s desk).
Narnia (Fragrant grasses, snow, a touch of cedar and pine, salty sea air, with a touch of animal musk and sweet Turkish delight).
Miss Marple’s garden (Flowers like lilacs, geraniums, and old-fashioned roses; herbs like thyme, rosemary, summer savoury, and a touch of white mint).
I’d like to smell like my backyard on cool spring mornings
Hummmmm… I bet Narnia would smell amazing. Like snow, sunshine, and cinnamon. Mmmmm.
Regardless of my mood, I’d love to smell like the inside of my violin case.
