A hot bath while listening to soothing music always does the trick.
I take a 15-20 minute hot epsom salt bath.
A few deep breaths and a reminder that it’s supposed to be an unstressful time seems to help!
A cocktail or nice glass of white wine after shopping does the trick :)
Pampering myself helps me weather the Holidays.

Learning to take just 15 minutes for myself and focus on breathing and thinking on only good thoughts.. that really works!

My tip is to start planning early and let others help you, so you don’t have to rush around last minute or do everything yourself.

When I am stressed I like to listen to calming music and drink some warm green tea.
Hmmm. I think trying to stay positive and laughing a lot helps.
When I’m under Holiday Stress, Nothing Beats some Hot Cocoa with the Works and also Online shopping instead of going to the mall helps staying calm.
Sleep, staying hydrated, running with friends, and yoga all help me stay calm during the holidays!

I do crossword puzzles on my iPad. It makes me use my brain but keeps me calm. (and it lets me cheat!!)
Take a rest when feel tired and always talk to my husband.

I use coupons to save money, shop online to save time, and breath to save my sanity. lol
The one thing that helps me to deal with Holiday stress would be baking…it relaxes me and I forget that I am stressed for a little while. Ofcourse….wine helps too!
Dealing with holiday stress is much easier now that I’m older. I don’t sweat the small things, I make a list of what needs to be done, then try to complete. I ask for help too from other family members and make time for myself like get my hair done, always helps me get refreshed :)
I deal with holiday stress by taking time out just for me. I take a bubble bath, paint my nails, watch a favorite movie, etc.
I like to wrap presents, it always relaxes me.

My secret to Holiday Stress is to fnd 20 -40 mins to relax in a hot bath! Then I listen to music while sipping on a glass of wine or not with depeding on how I feel with my favorite candles lit. Then papmpering myself with my favorite smell good products. Like lotions, body sprays, face creams, & other beauty products I like to induldge in. Somehow I get to feel like I been to a luxury spa but, in the comfort of of my own home & without the extra expenses! On a good day this can happen for a good 45 mins without anyone calling my name “MOM” out every 10 mins.
I talk to my Daughters. Walk on my machine.
Baking relaxes me.
Don’t spend more than I can afford.
I start early and don’t go overboard. Moderation w/ everything is key!
reading a good book.
Taking some quiet time amid all the hustle and bustle to just decompress is great.
3 words- whiskey and coke.
Hot bubble bath and then sooth your whole body with a rich lotion like Eucerin.
I take a warm bath to relax
Getting plenty of rest and eating proper meals.
Spending a little one on one time with my dog always chills me out.

Working out helps me destress.
Being organized helps me. I start early and do a few things every day so I don’t get overwhelmed.
My tip for less stress holiday cooking is to prepare as much food as possible. I bake many of my Christmas cookies early and freeze them for later use. Nobody even notices that they were previously frozen.
Trying to stay organized and doing a little each day. Not waiting until the last moment.
I try to take a little quiet time every day & some cardio – thank you.

Sometimes, just going out to lunch by yourself, taking a book and having something nice is a real coping activity. Or instead of lunch, go to Starbucks with your laptop or tablet and chill for awhile.
Just stopping to realize that the holidays are supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. Realizing the meaning for the holidays are important. A little glass of wine here and there never hurt,either ! :)
I have a good laugh with my husband
I don’t stress out. I try to get everything done with careful plannig & if something goes awry (which it almost always does), I just roll with it. In the end all will be well.
what helps with holiday stress is realizing that the holidays are about spending time with family, and all the little details don’t have to be perfect.
I try to take some me time for a bath or to read and just relax.

I deal with holiday stress with buying candles on sale apple cinnamon I burn these thru out the house as well as bowls of pice cones soaked in cinnamon oil.I take a warm bath every night throw in scented bath salts and soak my stress away
