|Me in a nutshell||
I’m a blogger who’s obsessed with ridiculously affordable makeup. I also obsess over other things. Most things, actually.
Makeup, nail polish, perfume, coffee, tea, delicate pastries, crafty projects, film, books, music, politics, puppies, the smell of a newborn baby’s head, and lots of other things.

|I NEVER go without these||
leave-in conditioner, eyebrow pencil, mascara and blush
|Biggest splurge or steal in my closet||
I’m cheap, so my biggest splurge is probably a nine west bag that I DIDN’T get on sale :)
|do-gooder: Why I am one||
I always, always stop everything to help the elderly wherever I am, no matter how busy I am.
|read, watch, listen:Favorite books||
Freedom, Bastard out of Carolina, Invisible Man, The Color Purple.
I’m all over the map: Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Foreigner, The Civil Wars, The Kills, Duran Duran, Earth, Wind and Fire, Hall & Oates, Queens of the Stone Age, R.E.M., Camper Van Beethoven, Heart, Pixies, The Plimsouls, Chris Isaak, Billy Joel, rjd2, I could go on and on.
|Favorite TV shows||
Mad Men (number one forever and always), Freaks & Geeks, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, Curb, Modern Family, Terriers (RIP), Oddities, the original 90210 and many more that I’m too embarrassed to reveal.
This question makes my brain hurt. Here are some movies I will always watch whenever they’re on tv: Almost Famous, Pretty In Pink, Valley Girl, The Color Purple, Goodfellas, Swingers, Weird Science, The Glass Bottom Boat, A Christmas Story.
|home & living:My favorite room in my house||
This seems to change a lot. Right now, the kitchen.
|beauty & fashion: I can skip these||
lip liner, highlighter, hairspray
|eat, drink, be merry: Tell us your go to meal||
My go-to meal is garbanzo bean tacos: 1 can garbanzos, 1 packet taco seasoning and cook as you would ground meat (cook the beans a little, add the packet and water, let simmer). Spoon onto corn tortillas and add cheese, cilantro, diced onion and sour cream. YUM.
|If I were an 80’s movie/tv/music star, I’d be||
Easy: Deborah Foreman in Valley Girl.
