Hopefully by now you’ve seen our posts about our John Frieda makeovers (Stef’s and Tyna’s). But we wanted to give you a look at some of the other fun we had while we were in NYC, while we wait for the video to be edited. (photos by we heart this)

Just one of our stops during our shopping extravaganza with the Glam editors – the Shoe Lounge at Topshop.

A sign seen at Katz’s Deli. I tend to agree with it’s message.

I had half a reuben, pickles and matzo ball soup.

A peek at a portion of the talented Nam Vo’s kit. Recognize anything?

The color for my retro manicure: NARS Jungle Red. I’m a bit obsessed with this shade now.

We had a fabulous Italian meal at Inoteca in the LES. Here’s T enjoying some wine from our sidewalk table.

We had a fabulously fitting lunch at Lure Fishbar. Sushi, cocktails, good company and the best of Duran Duran blaring. How perfect is that?

Are you gathering we ate well on our trip? My favorite meal of all was at Beauty & Essex. It’s hard to best sum up this gem of a place. You enter through a pawn shop, and are allowed what feels like secret entry into a three story restaurant designed to look like the interior of a jewelry box. Beautiful decor, incredible food, but perhaps the best feature of all…

…there’s champagne served in the ladies room! Here we are with our good friend Shannon.

After we checked out of the Thompson LES we booked into a place called The Blue Moon for a night. Located in the historic tenement district, this place is such a gem I almost don’t want to share it. Friendly staff servicing what are adorable and super affordable rooms. Here’s Tyna reenacting was sure to be a lot of yelling back in the day.

Stay tuned for more pics next week!
