Have you wrapped up your Mother’s Day shopping yet? Maybe our earlier picks haven’t quite grabbed the essence of your Mom yet. 1. What a great round up of gifts! I love that necklace, I bet my sister (Mum of a 2 year old) would love it as well. Too bad my nephew is in that phase where he loves to grab things and pull them off! LOL

  2. I really enjoyed spending some time on Wickedly Chic’s suggested sites. Lots of unique presents for Mom (and a few for me)by small, locally owned companies. Plus, lots of items at great prices.

One gift that I’m eyeing more for me are those gorgeous veggie bags. I adore the retro print – now to pick a color.

@Miss Malaprop – you’re welcome! Love your site and all the great items you offer! We knew our readers would flip over those bags.
.-= Tyna Werner´s last blog ..By Lauren Luke, My Smokey Classics – review =-.

  3. I love the veggie bags, they look so cool and the print reminds me of my childhood!
I have been using these stay fresh bags and am lookin to replace them with something else.. Do these keep things fresh longer?

  4. Pamela, while you can certainly store the veggies in these cloth veggie bags if you’d like, at my house we take most items out of the bags once we get them home, and either keep them in bowls on the counter to keep them dry or keep them in the crisper drawers in the fridge. I wouldn’t necessarily say that these bags keep things fresh longer, but I don’t think that keeping them in the bags shortens the veggies freshness lifespan either. We have kept certain things, like fresh okra, in the bags before and they’ve been fine.

  5. Since I’ve already finished shopping for my mom (thanks to one of your posts last week!), it just might be time to treat myself to a little something: those darling veggie bags in green! I’m going to be the star of the Farmers Market :)
