Stumped on what to get ANY woman in your life? Skincare is always a welcomed gift. I have seen women who confess to only use a bar of soap as their skincare routine, literally squeal with delight when unwrapping a serum.

If you know the recipient well, you know their favorite brands, you probably even know their skin type. But what if you don’t? You could always snoop in a cabinet. But the better option is to cleverly ask. “Hey, my skin’s so dry/oily/sensitive lately. I’m thinking it’s the weather. Have you noticed that too?” Boom, you’ve got your answer. Most girls will blab freely about their skin when given the chance!

I’m telling you – you can’t go wrong with skincare. Here are some fabulous options for any budget.

Loreal-Revitalift-serum

Under $25
skin type: any | concern: anti-aging

It IS possible to get high-end skincare at drugstore prices. Take L’Oréal Revitalift Triple Power Concentrated Serum Treatment for instance. At $24.99, this lightweight serum is a skincare bargain. It fights aging with Hyaluronic Acid (the current darling of the skincare world), delivering smoother skin in 1 week and visibly lessened wrinkles within 4.

Not sure if your giftee is a serum fan? (Though they should be: serums are my favorite skincare product!) The Revitalift line has multiple products to choose from. I also like the Volume Filler Daily Re-Volumizing Moisturizer Cream, which also uses Hyaluronic Acid to help skin look and feel firmer and fuller.

Bliss-A-Bright-Face-gift-set

About $50
skin type: normal to oily | concentration: exfoliation

Skincare sets are a great way to go for added value. Like the Bliss A-Bright Face, a $95 value for only $49. Out of all the brands on this list, I own more Bliss products than any other. There’s a reason for that – this spa knows their stuff!

The trio concentrates on exfoliation. Fabulous Foaming Face Wash (a product that has proudly been in my shower for over five years, thanks in part to a pump top) is an oil-free exfoliating gel wash that leaves skin feeling fresh. That’s Incredi-‘Peel’! are pads that step up the exfoliating with glycolic acid. (And if your recipient has never used a peel before, she’ll love that you were the one who introduced her: peels give MAJOR results.) And Triple Oxygen Energizing Vitamin C Day Cream rounds out the group by brightening and lightly hydrating (it’s gel formula never feels heavy and smells delicious, like baby aspirin!)

Peter-Thomas-Roth-Mask-a-holic

About $75
skin type: any | concern: every, seriously, every!

If you’re keeping track, you’ve noticed I love serums and peels. Now comes my third true skincare love: masks! Peter Thomas Roth delivers a mask smorgasbord with Mask-A-Holic, a $206 value for $75. You get 1.7 oz jars of:
Cucumber Gel Mask
Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask
24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask
Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask
Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

This is a great introduction to the line (an absolute leader in skincare) and a fabulous way for someone to sample five masks in hopes of finding a holy grail. But most exciting, you’re giving them a mask wardrobe. Skin feeling dull and congested? Use the Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. Need some extra pampering? Apply the 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask.

There’s nothing more luxurious than a mask. Your giftee will agree!

SkinCeutical-C-E-Ferulic-serum

Over $100
skin type: normal, dry or sensitive | concern: anti-aging

Skinceutical C E Ferulic isn’t a new product. It’s been around since 2005. But when facialists constantly recommend it (every one I’ve EVER seen), and when it continues to appear on countless beauty editors’ must have lists; there’s a reason: it’s a powerhouse that works.

Vitamin C, E and Ferulic Acid deliver an antioxidant punch that’s hard to be beat. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles, it diminishes sun damage, it brightens uneven skintone, it reduces inflammation…it does everything but change the age on your license!

At $162, it’s expensive. But if you want to give a gift that can truly change a person’s skin, this is your best bet.

Tammy-Fender-Purifying-Lucent-Masque

Over $200
skin type: problematic (dry, oily or acne-prone) | concentration: detoxifying

Hey big spender! May I (highly) recommend Tammy Fender Purifying Luculent Masque? At $215, this is definitely a splurge, and one that your recipient may not buy for themselves. So, be a hero and get it for them!

This masque may just be the best smelling product I’ve ever tried. The light, herbal scent comes from fragrant ingredients like Rosemary and Lavender water, while Fo-Ti and Great Burdock add to the organic list. Tammy Fender bills this as “The Ultimate Detoxifier” and I can attest. The creamy masque draws out impurities, helps to eliminate blemishes, reduces redness and inflammation and leaves skin with a healthy glow that’s impossible to deny.
