A, B, C….Good Skin
A, B, C, D, E, F, G…if you happen to overhear me singing “The Alphabet Song,” don’t worry, there’s a very good reason. These days, I am more than a little obsessed with everything alphabet because of my new favorite powerhouse skincare product; Murad Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil ($72 1.0 fl oz), aka “Alphabet Oil.”
I love facial oils and have versions from many brands in my skincare collection. But Murad Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil has been my one and only since the day it arrived. I’ve never before used an oil so weightless, yet so effective.
Vitamin A-for smoothing, plumping and skintone correction
Vitamin B-for moisture balancing
Vitamin C-for brightening and protection
Vitamin D-for fighting UV damage
Vitamin E-for softening and further protection from free radicals
Vitamin F-for texture improvement courtesy of Omegas 3 and 6
Whew, all those letters got us feeling sexy! How about some Prince before we go on?
“Alphabet Oil” has the lightest formula, barely a whisper of oil that sinks right in with no residual shininess. My skin immediately glows in a subtle, youthful way. The product is very concentrated, just a drop or two is enough to cover face and neck. Keep that in mind if the price tag makes you wince. I expect this bottle will last for months even though I’m using it every day.
I’d never thought about topical vitamins versus the supplements we take orally. Since the skin is the largest organ of the body, why shouldn’t vitamins be useful there, too? Dr. Murad says it best: “Applying vitamins topically is just as important as taking a daily multi-vitamin supplement. Certain vitamins need one another to reach maximum potency. That’s why I wanted to formulate a treatment oil with six key vitamins that would deliver six key benefits for total skin rejuvenation.”
This blend improves the appearance of all the dreaded signs of aging: dull skin, dry skin, fine lines, wrinkles, rough texture, uneven tone. In clinical trials, a whopping 96% of participants reported more radiant, healthier-looking skin after 4 weeks. Even shorter-term use is effective for dryness and uneven skintone. I began to notice improvements in a little over a week, and my skin has continued to improve with daily use.
The Multi-Vitamin oil is recommended for all skin types. Yes, even oily complexions will see a balancing effect from this non-comedogenic treatment. I tested this claim by applying the oil on my oily t-zone and marveled at the way my skin felt as if I’d blotted it. Truly amazing stuff.
Like all Murad products, the oil is formulated without parabens or sulfate, and is cruelty-free. Sing it with me now, A, B, C, D, E, F, G… Ok, there is no Vitamin G, but I suggest Murad develops one: Vitamin Gorgeous!
