Allow me to share my recent Sephora haul (courtesy of the Friends and Family code!)
I couldn’t resist (literally!) the limited edition Fresh Mini Sugar Kissing Trio ($28). For about the price of one
, you’re getting three of their iconic lip balms in the latest flavors/colors – honey, passion and plum. The tubes are thinner and just a bit smaller than a lipstick tube. And as we all agree, smaller is cuter! I love that I have one for my purse, one for my desk, and one for my car.

One look at the NARS Lipstick Joyous Red
($24) swatch over at Temptalia and I knew I had to have it. It’s described as semi matte amber red, and that’s pretty accurate. But what’s hard to describe is the micro fine gold shimmer that puts the “Joyous” in it.
The purchase that I’m getting the biggest kick from has to be Nails Inc. Magnetic Polish in Trafalgar Square
($16). Thanks to magnetic particles in the polish, and with the help of a magnet in the cap….

Oh no it didn’t! This may just be the coolest beauty trick I’ve seen in years.
Also from Nails Inc. and another blogger influenced purchase was the Old Vic Collection
($20). I was mesmerized by the swatches over at Vampy Varnish. I’m not sure what I think of Old Vic yet. I was hoping for it to be a bit closer to the effect of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, but the blue flecks of Old Vic aren’t quite as bright as I hoped (and nowhere near as bright as the picture). I’m going to try it over some lighter polishes and will report back.
Lastly, I had a chance to swatch the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour
($24) at a counter recently and knew I needed it pronto. They’re even creamier than MAC’s shade stick, and Khaki is taupe-a-licious!

OMG you had a great haul! I’ve been eying the Fresh lip balm for a long time but never got around to buying it. And that Nails Inc. magnetic polish looks really really cool–I’m putting it on my wishlist! I’m sad the Old Vic polish wasn’t as bright as in the picture, because I’d been hoping to buy that too.
I bought one thing from the sale, the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette. I love UD, and this one has 15 ALL NEW shades, and the packaging is awesome. :)
I love the nails. I’ll have to have that one before December. I visited the link of the magnetic nail polish and i can only find three colors. I might take the Purple one.
@stef HOLY HAUL!! My purchase was a bit more boring. I got some refill brushes for my Clarisonic. This is one staple I like to have always have on hand.

I didn’t place a big order for F+F but I did get: Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel (it’s okay but a bit expensive. I fear for it running out much sooner than later), Tarte Lipsurgence set (amazing deal!), and two bottles of the Perricone Fish Oil capsules.

That’s a great deal for the Fresh lippies, I recently got to try the Rose and love it for dry lips.
I’m also jealous of that magnetic polish, I’ve been eyeing it.
It was like a scene from A Christmas Story, me approaching my mailbox with baited breath every day for the last month saying “is it here yet?” awaiting the arrival of my FF coupon for the big sale! I wasn’t able to get the huge haul, but some staples I’ve been waiting to refill: my Dior Style Liner (best jet black liquid eyeliner ever!), Ojon Color Sustain shampoo I learned about right here, the djv beautenizer mascara we just tested for my mom’s stocking, and a Fresh sugar lippie and lip scrub. I’m excited to try the scrub for the first time, but I (and my 2 year-old!) are long time fans of the lip balm!
I totally covet the Fresh Mini Lip Trio! I have the plum (love it) but have yet try get passion or honey. Fresh always has nice holiday sets too. I think I’ve gifted something from them for the last five years.
I got a new Tarte Smoulder Eye Pencil and a Fresh gift set for a Xmas gift! Love the holidays when all the fun gift sets come out!
That Sugar Lip Trio looks GREAT. Thanks to the Revlon Lip Butters, I’m now obsessed with sheer balms; that’s definitely going on my list.
I’m so glad you let us know about the Nails Inc.; I’ve been hunting down a Hidden Treasure dupe and I’m sad that isn’t one. Looks like I need to wait for your test on light colors!
I was SO well behaved during the F&F sale. I managed to sit on my hands while repeating “down payment, down payment” to myself, ha!
I love the magnetic polish. I’ve not had the chance to really explore it yet, but maybe you can answer a question for me- will other magnets change the polish once it has dried? Like, if I play with a refrigerator magnet will it mess up the design? It’s so cool, I really need to get my hands on some.
