I’m going to be honest. You weren’t supposed to be reading this post right now. You were supposed to be reading about the Benefit Countdown to Love Advent calendar ($68) – the uber-adorable jumbo box filled with 24 beauty treats to open daily leading up to the holidays, advent calender style. It arrived for review and I loved it.

Benefit-Advent

See? That’s the love that can only be found in limited edition holiday collections. Only problem? It’s sold out…everywhere. So rather than create pangs of need that can’t be reciprocated, I’m going to tell you about another Benefit product that arrived recently. And though it’s not as immediately squee-worthy as the above, its results are. It’s Gimme Brow icon($22) .

I surprise myself with how in to eye brows I am lately. Of course, it didn’t help that when my niece recently came from London, she told me how important they are to British girls. She said she and all of her friends often skip eye shadow and liner, but NEVER leave the house without a well groomed brow.

Who better to introduce me to a new must-have brow product then brow experts Benefit? And an easy brow product with maximum results at that! Because though there are times I love to spend as long as possible fussing over them, most often I’m doing my brows in a rush; either in the car or at my desk at work just seconds before the cute copier boy walks in.

Gimme Brow iconis one heck of a multi-tasker. It’s a brush on fiber gel that sticks to both your hair and skin; your skin to add color and your hair to add volume. Then, holds it all in place in a crunch-less fashion! Best of all, it’s buildable. A simple sweep quickly refines them, or build the color and volume up for natural looking lushness.

The water resistant, soft yet strong formula is a stand out for sure, but oh that brush! Who knew something so little could be so mighty. But it’s in the tininess that it shines. That precise lil’ tip really gets in between hairs, placing color exactly where you want it. Then use it on its side to brush the gel through the hairs and hold them in place.

That’s Light/Medium shown above. It also comes in Medium/Deep.

So, while I’m sad I’m too late to share Countdown to Love with you, I’m REALLY happy to introduce you to the easiest brow product I’ve ever used! Give Gimme Brow icon a try if you’re looking for a fast, natural looking multi-tasker.

Definitely going to pick this up. I, also love eyebrows! So envious of that epic Benefit Advent Calendar…you look like one super-happy gal! Too cute!

  2. @stef – Why is it when something is sold out and out of stock . . . it makes makeup addicts WANT IT EVEN MORE?? Shame on Benefit for teasing us!

On the other hand, I am glad know about this brow product! I will have to check it out. I am currently using the original Benefit brows. Perhaps it is time for an upgrade?

    1. This whole HOLIDAY/out of stock nonsense is driving me into a frenzy. I’m glad you can share with us an awesome product that will keep my mind off of the availability of other products!

  3. @stef – I think to make it up to us, we need a picture of you wearing those fun glasses with pink eyebrows. I’m just sayin’. ;)

  4. Thanks, @stef! I’ve been eyeing this for quite some time (bad pun intended). I didn’t like Anastasia’s colored version of this because it was hard to use and sloppy. I’m really stuck on “Divaderme” (tiny fibers which adhere by a built-in clay formula), but even after using that I like to brush brows up and out. I think I’ll give it a try!

  5. I just picked up Gimme brow on a recommendation from the Benefit counter and I absolutely have been loving it! I am also so jealous that you got the Countdown to Love calendar! I wanted one and I should have gotten it when I saw it even though it was full price on sephora.com…..regrets

  6. Boo, I LOVED advent calendars growing up so I am super bummed the adult version, filled with makeup goodies is gone :( The brow formula looks good too though, and I am in need of more brow products…

  7. Oh no! So sad to hear about the advent calendar. Maybe it will be back in stock in December and then it will still be an okay time to post about it! :)

This brow gel looks really great! Love the tint and the small brush.
