Attention Vintage Loving Fashionistas: Have we got an amazing online site for you! Prepare to waste the next couple of hours browsing and coveting an extensive range of high quality vintage goods. From hats and shoes to jackets and scarves to sweaters and little black dresses, Posh Girl Vintage stocks the closet of my dreams.

Many years ago, Stef and I dreamed of opening our own high-end vintage store – we imagined it filled with elegant and easy retro pieces in great condition and ready to be worn out the door, but the costs of opening a brick and mortar store soon derailed the idea. Which was why I was so excited during my first (of many) visits to the Posh Girl Vintage site – Brigitte Daguerre, the ingenious gal behind this spectacular store has created the vintage utopia we dreamed of!

Just like us, Brigitte fell in love with vintage clothing during her ‘punk rock brat’ phase and continued to shop and collect during her years spent as a model/actress/photo assistant/stylist building a unique wardrobe of retro pieces. While scouring online for vintage fashion, she was disappointed in the selection, so she decided to create her ideal store; one that’s “modern and easy to use with clear pretty photos…that sells unique, wearable, quality, vintage and designer clothing, and accessories at a fair price… neither too cheap, nor too expensive.” Done and done!

Retro divas will be thrilled with this hand picked collection of stunning pieces. And if you love vintage dresses, especially prom and formal wear; prepare to be wowed. These forever in-style vintage works of art are one of Brigitte’s obsessions, so they are also a specialty at Posh Girl Vintage. You’ll also find a whole category for the closet staple, the little black dress, plus outerwear, separates, bags, and even a kids section.

Plus, they’ve done all the work for you at Posh Girl Vintage. Weeding out pieces with cheap design and fabrics with stains, rips etc. Each piece is cleaned, repaired and restored to it’s best possible state (and any small flaw will always be mentioned in listings). I’ve only got warm and cozy fall fashions on my mind and I’ve found a few pieces that must make it into my closet this season:

• My absolute favorite find was the so very Grey Gardens two piece set (top image), 1940s Fitted Jacket & Scarf – it would look fantastic with jeans! $159

• Cat prints are back in again (as if they ever left) this fall, and this 1950s Faux Leopard Wrap looks cozy and HUGE – just right for keeping you nice and warm. $149

• Better snag these 1960s Platform Rock Star Leather Boots quickly! Everyone will want a great pair of chocolate brown boots this fall and you can’t go wrong with this classic pair. Size 6/6.5, $239

• Chunky, oversized sweaters are not only comfy, they’re back in as well. Wear this trend in unique styles and knits (not boring cable knit black), like this 1970s Crochet Wrap Sweater with a fitted waist, belt tie closure and flared sleeves. $129

Happy shopping vintage loving readers!

  1. @tyna – love ALL of your pics! But especially that blazer. Oh, it would be fab with jeans and those boots. And that’s one stylish doo-rag!

    Love this store…

  2. I know – that jacket is to die for and the matching scarf only makes me want it even more.

I’m also completely in love with the faux fur wrap – I could picture me wearing that everyday between October and March.

Vintage loving ladies, make sure to check out the dresses – you may find the perfect, totally unique dress for all those upcoming holiday parties – they have such a stunning collection!

  3. Wow, @tyna, you weren’t kidding! Posh Girl has a great selection of things I’d love to own, all in great condition, too. The accessories section alone has me yearning.

I’ll admit I was taken aback by all the 80s stuff. Hard to believe things I wore are now considered vintage!

  4. I want those boots! And I saw an 80s plaid jacket on the site that is so great…but are we allowed to wear it if we lived it?

  5. Wow, Posh Girl Vintage is awesome! That is an impressive selection of items. The hat section is to die for!

  6. Sadly I found dealing with posh girl vintage a nightmare! I paid $350 for a dress that arrived with tears and was accused of using it in a photo shoot when I tried to return it! At present they have the faulty garment and my money and will not return it! I am taking legal action against this company.

    1. I’m sorry to hear that. We really enjoyed our interaction with this company. I hope you’re able to work it out.
