Curls Rule with Garnier Fructis Style Curl Collectionphotos: we heart this

You know that old saying, “The grass is always greener on the other side.” For this lady with pin straight hair, the saying holds true, as I’ve always been envious of those with a head full of lush curls. I would do anything to to have bouncy, curly locks, and never understand why my curly haired friends spend so much time with a flat iron and straightening products.

The hair mavens at Garnier Fructis Style must agree. This month they have introduced five new products infused with shea to moisturize, control and enhance those curly locks. And to celebrate, Garnier is launching a Wear Your Hair Curly Day this Tuesday, May 22nd. So ditch the straightener and wear those curls with pride!

Curl Construct Mousse and Curl Calm Down Anti-Frizz Cream

Garnier Fructis Style’s new products are created to let you wear those curls every single day, no matter the date on the calendar. The drugstore fave has added a handful of new products that offer a variety of hold levels and textures to suit all types of wavy and curly tresses:

Curl Construct Mousse ($4.49) – An extra strong hold mousse that offers a lightweight formula that defines curls and waves while taming the frizzies and fly-aways.

Curl Calm Down Anti-Frizz Cream ($4.29) – This cream provides an extra dose of intense moisture to tame unruly curls and give soft definition for up to 24 hours.

Curl Scrunch Gel, Curl Shaping Spray Gel, and Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel

Curl Scrunch Gel ($4.49) – This gel offers extra strong hold for long lasting defined and tight curls without frizz or flakes.

Curl Shaping Spray Gel ($4.49) – The pump spray allows precise application for this liquid-gel that enhances waves and curls and adds a bit of shine.

Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel ($4.49) – A unique gel/cream hybrid that helps create flexible, soft, bouncy curls for all day hold without the ‘crunchy’ feel found in many products.

  1. Ohh fun! Finally curly girls get some respect!! I am a fan of Garnier Leave In Conditioner. It does wonders for my curls. I can not wait to try the Cream Gel. It looks great!!!

  2. Wear Your Hair Curly Day comes at the perfect time for me. It’s been raining for days, and I’ve been wasting my time trying to straighten my hair. This morning, I rubbed in a dollop of Garnier’s Curl Calm Down Anti-Frizz Cream and hit the road. My hair dried curly but not frizzy at all! So easy, and it smells great, too. Garnier makes my favorite drugstore styling products, and I can’t wait to try more of their new line.

  3. I’m a HUGE fan about Garnier Fructis Style Curl Shaping Spray Gel, I’ve been using it for years! I’ve never tried the Curl Calm Down cream or the Curl Sculpting Cream Gel, but at such low prices I’m totally willing to give ’em a shot!
Wear Your Hair Curly day is almost EVERYDAY for me, so products like the Garnier Fructis Style Curl Collection are staples in my beauty routine. Love it!

  4. I don’t know about The Curl collection here, but I am totally in love with the way Garnier Fructis products smell…fresh, clean and bright!

  5. I actually have hair likes yours Tyna and this range does nothing for my hair (I have the mousse)! I don’t know what it is, but the only thing that has really worked for giving me all day curls has been wet set overnight pin curling! I won’t brush through those curls, but I separate them with my fingers and finger comb them. They still relax to very, very loose curls in about six hours! My straight hair just intends on finding a way to go back to straight!

Don’t even ask me about waving my hair. Doesn’t happen. There’s no such thing as waves with this hair. NONE. It’s curls or bust.

  6. Two thumbs up for this line. Garnier gives me bouncey soft curls I need. The scent is fresh and clean.

    1. Glad you approve of Garnier’s latest @reena! While the curl collection isn’t a fit for my hair type, I’ve got to agree, the scent of their products is fab – and long lasting as well, love it.

  7. Erin gave me her Curl Construct Mousse to try, as I occasionally love to wear my curls too! I am really impressed with the product. First, I agree that the scent is clean and refreshing – it’s nice to smell in the morning and makes me feel like my hair smells nice all day. Secondly, it actually really works well – especially when I let my hair dry naturally. I have layered hair that is about chin length. The underneath layers are pretty curly naturally, but my top heavy layer is pretty pin straight – so parts of my hair are easy to curl, but other parts are a real challenge. This made air drying really easy, with just a golf ball sized amount – brush, scrunch and go – almost that easy. I also tried it with blow drying with a diffuser. It worked better than other products I’ve tried, but I did not have quite as good of luck as with the air drying technique. All in all, I’m very impressed and give this a definite 5 stars!

  8. I forgot to mention also that I was impressed that there wasn’t much “crunch” that was so reminiscent of the mousses from my childhood! It’s there a little, but mostly this just leaves soft curls – and yes, helps with flyways and frizz, too.
