Fabulous little gifts – All $10 And Under
Stocking stuffers are usually just filler gifts and tiny throwaway-type items that you buy so you have something to fill a narrow and awkward stocking. I reject that. Just because you’re looking for something small and cheap, doesn’t mean it can’t be a fabulous gift. My rule of thumb is that the item has to have a purpose: it has to be functional or put a smile on your face. Here’s a list of my favorite stocking stuffers – all for under $10!
I love lip balm and it makes an excellent stocking stuffer. Epic Blend makes one of the better balms out there. Made from all-natural ingredients, they create vegan, hemp and tinted varieties. Each balm offers a smooth, nourishing formula in fresh, not chemically, flavors.
If you have a lot of stockings to stuff, buy a the lip lovin’ superpack ($31.95) and split them up! (But keep the Citrus Kick for yourself, it’s the perfect blend of orangey tingle. I’m obsessed. ~ Tyna, the resident lip balm junkie) You’ll make a number of people happy for about 3 bucks a pop!
Philosophy ‘peppermint stick’ hand cream ornament
I love all the travel sets and little extras bath and beauty companies offer this time of year. They are a great way for the recipient to try out new brands and new products and these tiny offerings are perfect stocking stuffers! This one from Philosophy is an ornament as well! I also have my eye on Philosophy’s Have a Cherry Christmas set for the ladies and the small Kiehl’s Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream: White Eagle for the men.
That’s a tissue pattern y’all!
I always use these as stocking stuffers or add-on’s. I think Swankies are way better than any other brand of portable tissues. These end up being very useful, mostly because people are always having colds around the holidays or they’re traveling and rest stops are not known for being well-stocked with t.p. These have been a life saver many a time. Plus? Look how cute!
I’ve kept a charm bracelet for almost 15 years now and I love getting charms as stocking stuffers. Wouldn’t it be fun to pull this guy, the Tierra Cast Zombie Charm, from your stocking? If zombies aren’t your thing, you can find all sorts of styles on Etsy – many of them are around $5 or less, even for sterling silver!
For men’s socks, I go ridiculous – and these Yeti or Not pair from Target fit the bill. Plus they retail for just $3.99. For women’s socks I either go ridiculous or snuggly. Nothing beats a pair of slipper socks on a cold, winter’s morn – this SO 2 pack is currently $6.99.
Candles are always a nice gift, and Yankee Candle offers plenty of great scents. But you can’t burn a candle in your car. Which is why I love their vent clips! The Sparkling Cinnamon Reindeer Vent Clips are amazing in the winter – as you run hot air through the vents, your whole car fills with toasty warmth and cinnamon. Yum!
Handmade Walter White Sting Doll Keychain
I love the bizarreness of this…like, how random would it be to get a Walter White keychain in your stocking? How random and amazing? Bonus: it’s only 6 bucks!
Milk Lindt Bear Holiday Chocolate Mini Figure
FInally, you can’t go wrong with chocolate. These holiday chocolates from Lindt are just too cute and just too tasty. At $4.99, these were made to stuff stockings!
I hope this list inspired you to not neglect the awesomeness that can be the stocking stuffer! Happy Holidays, everyone!
we heartsters – What are your favorite stocking stuffers?
Krista resides in the middle of nowhere with her bff/hubby and a puppy that makes feral capuchins seem mellow. She has an irrational fear of ax murder, owns more than one machete for home defense/the zombie apocalypse, and goes to sleep serenaded by the sounds of the Chupagobbler, a mythical turkey beast that roams the woods around her house. Krista has been in the Bermuda Triangle twice and still hasn’t vanished. She is super proud of that.
skin tone: NW15
skin type: sensitive/oily
favorite beauty product: Blush, lots and lots of blush
I have a bit of a tissue fetish (boxes, but I’d be more than willing to move into the actual tissue territory) – so I’d love you forever if you put tissues in my stocking!
These are such great picks–the zombie charm, Yeti socks and the Walter White key-chain are especially awesome. And oh my lord, you could make (or buy) some blue rock candy as “meth” to put it over the top. Sometimes I think figuring out stocking stuffers is more fun than actual gift buying!
I love the socks and the Epic Blend lip blams!!!
