Muradicon is one of my favorite choices when it comes to skincare. It’s a brand that has always been on top of it’s game with the latest and greatest in scientific research, translating into formulas that work, and that address any skin problem you may be faced with. I’ve used a variety of their formulas, including the acne and anti-aging products, and everything I have ever used from them I love!

The Murad Pore Reform regimen was no different. And couldn’t have come at a better time since my face has been more on the oily side lately, and pores on my nose in particular, are noticeably larger and could use some serious help!

Murad packaging

This three step line includes a Daily Cleansing Foam, a T-Zone Pore Refining Serum, and a Balancing Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 15 moisturizer, all which work together to keep normal/combination skin in perfect balance and helping to clear clogged pores. What I love about this combo is it’s a great choice for most skin types, especially if you’re looking to try Murad for the first time.

Murad Daily Cleansing Foam

The Daily Cleansing Foamicon ($28) is a fantastic formula and comes out in perfectly pumped amounts, due to Murad’s solid and functional packaging. It also has a pale pink color, which makes me happy in the morning (I’m partial to pink), most likely due to the Pomegranate Complex, a powerful antioxidant that provides free radical protection. This cleanser also has AHA’s to clear skin, Artemia, that helps stimulate healthy cell function, and witch hazel, to remove excess oil.

This is a great combination of ingredients and left my face feeling really clean but not tight or stripped. I’ve been using it with my Clarisonic and have already noticed how much cleaner and healthier my skin looks in the morning.

Murad T Zone Pore Refining Serum

Murad T Zone Pore Refining Serum

The T-Zone Pore Refining Serumicon ($42) has really helped the pores on my nose. Making use of Glycolic and Salicylic Acids, which help to exfoliate, this gel also contains Retinol to help improve texture and the same Pomegranate Extract found in the cleanser.

I started to see a reduction in blackheads and my pores look visibly smaller after only using it for a few weeks. This serum is also a really nice size and will last awhile, as you don’t need a lot to see effects.

Murad Balancing Moisturizer

The Balancing Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 15icon ($35) is quickly becoming my new daily moisturizer. It smells great, (maybe from the Japanese Alder Flower Extract to minimize blackhead formation), it doesn’t leave my face oily, and contains an SPF 15.

Murad Balancing Moisturizer

This oil-controlling moisturizer (talk about a paradox!) is a nice, lightweight formula that blends right into my skin leaving it exactly as the name implies… balanced.

After using all three Murad Pore Reform products together for the past few weeks, I have been very happy with this line and think you will too! While my skin isn’t perfect (is anyone’s ever?), the improvements in my pores and shine is enough to give this Murad line a place in my beauty routine.

  1. Great review! Murad does such a good job. I’m going to have to get my paws on these guys!

  2. Reduction in blackheads….whuttttt? Um, sold. I’ve used the Murad Acne complex before and liked it, so this looks like a great line to try next.

  3. Hey, @erin, very nice job! My eldest nephew used to be on the Murad advertising team when he lived in Santa Monica. I used to get occasional samples. Murad can’t go wrong as far as I’m concerned. I have used the “T-Zone Pore Refining Serum” and was thrilled (don’t have any at the present time). The cleanser looks amazing–I am partial to pink as well, and this would get me going.

  4. I’ve tried Murad’s acne line before and it wasn’t quite strong enough to take on my skin issues :(

  5. I’m a Murad believer after using their Perfecting Day Cream and reading Dr. Murad’s fab book THE WATER SECRET. My skin tends to be dry, but this line sounds great for oilier-skinned girls!

    1. I have read the Water Secret a couple years ago. I love reading informative books like that one.

    2. Ooooh, what’s the water secret? Do I need to read it?

    3. THE WATER SECRET has lots of interesting, common sense advice on improving your health (and your skin) from the inside out.

  6. I really like the brand Murad. They are known for delivering great results.

  7. This line is yet another reason why I love Murad. They have a great line of products and this one is no exception. I really like the cleanser and moisturizer, and have been using them everyday.

  8. I love Murad. I swear by their sunscreen for my face (I recently discovered that not only do many sunscreens break me out, but after my recent trip to Bermuda, I’ve apparently developed a pretty severe allergy). I also use their AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser and their Clarifying cleanser pretty much every day. I’ve been wanting to try their Pore Reform line…
