I am having a love affair with neutrals lately and topping my list of current loves is Pür Minerals Secret Crush eye shadow palette ($32).

Housed in a sleek, rose gold metal case, Secret Crush is sure to be your newest crush too. The palette contains eight shades of luxurious eye shadow that will carry you from day into night. With matte and shimmer finishes, this palette has everything you need to get gorgeous!

Pür minerals is a mineral-based cosmetic line that is gentle enough for those of us with sensitive skin. It’s not tested on animals and is 100% cruelty free, on top of being environmentally responsible, using only environmentally sourced, sustainable ingredients. Best of all? It’s made in the U.S.A.! (*insert “U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!” chant here*) This palette has all the benefits of making you look AND feel good.

I can’t really say enough good things about this palette. The case itself is a sturdy metal with a massive mirror – this baby can go anywhere. The shadows are incredibly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. You can apply a smidge for a daytime look or layer it on for added drama. They are so silky and finely milled, they really seem to glide on like a cream and blending is a dream.

The shadow brush that’s included with this palette is probably my new favorite cosmetic brush—the brush head is larger than your average eye shadow brush, not to mention fluffy, yet it manages to give a really refined, targeted application with virtually zero shadow fallout on your under eyes.

The test it passed with flying colors was wear time; this lasted a solid 6 hours on my oily lids on a hot and humid summer day. That just doesn’t happen, folks!

Overall, this neutral palette is crush-worthy and not the kind you want to keep a secret. This is like a junior high phone tree kind of crush—you’ll want to tell everyone! While this is my first foray into Pür Minerals, it definitely won’t be my last!
