The Little Bra Company

As a petite woman (5’2” in stocking feet) I can attest there are a number of advantages – being able to buy clothes and shoes on the cheap from the teen or little boys department, never having to worry about wearing heels and towering over your significant other, and being on the short side seems to subtract a good five years from your perceived age. On the downside? In most cases, Mother Nature gave you “two little ladies” to match your petite frame.

Honestly, I’ve never minded my “Barely B’s” too much. Of course, there are times I’ve been envious of my more well endowed friends or fantasized about having a Joan Holloway type figure that drew men like a moth to a flame…but I am what I am. Truthfully, the only truly hard part is finding a great bra – one that fits and flatters my small frame. And one that looks like a real bra – not like a sports bra. (Stef used to call them my training bras). I may be small, but I would like a little lace or sexy style, please.

Petite women of the world rejoice! And let me introduce you to your new favorite lingerie source, The Little Bra Company. This Los Angeles based line of pretty and sexy lingerie is created specifically for petite women and their smaller proportions. From cup sizes, to band width, to shoulder straps – these little beauties are made just for your little beauties.

The Little Bra Company features a lovely and luxurious line of bras, panties and more in of-the-moment colors and styles. And each piece is designed for the petite woman, with attention to fit, function and “maximum cleavage enhancement”. Woot! With their selection of hard-to-find petite sizes (from 28 to 36 widths and a range of A and B cups) you can find just what you need for every occasion.

• For everyday wear try the BIJOU (above, upper right corner) Bra in the neutral chai shade for a tee shirt smooth finish and subtle cleavage. Bonus feature, convertible straps that can be worn racer-back, halter and or traditionally. $58

• If you want to feel pretty, look no further then the ETHEL Bra (lower right corner). This sweet chocolate hued bra has pink and blue florals, embroidered lace and demi cups for sweet style. It also has a little extra padding for just the right amount of cleavage (even if you don’t have any – you will now!) $54

• Ready for some va-va-voom? Nothing says sexy like black and lacey! The LUCIA Bra features a deep plunge and push-up cups with lots of lace. This one does “big” things for little frames! $56

The Little Bra Company As for me, I tested out one of The Little Bra Company’s most popular models, the ANGELA Bra (at right) in black ($52).

This customer favorite, their bestselling t-shirt bra, features a super smooth shape (it’s so nice under tee’s and lightwieght shirts) that adds a little something extra with perfectly fitted padding.

What’s that? A little bit of cleavage? It’s true – this little wonder works with small frames and enhances what you’ve got!

Plus, this all star bra just got even better with the addition of convertible straps (not available in all colors and sizes yet) so it can be worn in a variety of styles – crossback, halter, standard – to fit your wardrobe.

Petite ladies – The Little Bra Company has solved the bra issue! Check them out to add some sexy, dare we say sassy style to your new year.

  1. I’m nowhere neat petite (5’9″, 36DDD, 100 and more pounds than I’m willing to share..) but it really does seem that average girls and big girls get the love.
This sounds GREAT and something I’m gonna reccommend to some of my petite friends because it’s not the typical, “HERE! Let’s make you BIGGER….”
It’s more like, “Let’s work with what you have and show off how gorgeous you already are!”

It may not be it’s intent, but I love the self-esteem/reaffirmation boost that they’re promoting! Yay, Little Bra Company!

  2. Oh how this post speaks to me and my tiny stature!
@tyna, *high five* for us 5’2″ gals!
I always have problems finding bras! These look comfy and sexy! I’l need to try the Angela because I could use a little *ahem* boost in the cleavage department.

  3. I love the idea of the line because I’m a petite woman, but I wish they did more than just push-up bras! Push-up bras are okay for occasional use, but constant use really destroys your breast tissue.
