Wait! What about the swimsuits? We didn’t include a swimsuit section, since the fits, styles, and construction of swimsuits are as varied as the bodies trying to squeeze into them! If you were hoping for some swimsuit selections, we have a few suggestions for you. Check out Target for a vast array of low priced, trendy pieces to mix and match. If you’re looking for great construction and some correcting features, we highly recommend Lands End swimsuits for superb fit. Can’t beat a Ghetto Blaster Bag!
The Mod Cloth swim suits are adorable :)
Loving the maxi dresses right now! Actually, I have always wanted maxi dresses, ever since high school. I’m a pretty modest dresser, and the maxi always seemed to be the perfect summer solution- breezy and cool, classy but casual, feminine but not revealing. So WHAT was the deal with having to fork over like 80 bucks for one (ahem, Victoria’s Secret)?!? I am pretty sure the extra cotton doesn’t cost THAT much, but correct me if I’m wrong.
Enter Target- my heroes. The long dresses there are perfect for summer. They have halter, thin strap, and racerback styles. So far I have worked the racerback dresses with a cardigan/necklace/strappy wedge sandal AND alone with flip-flops. It really rises to any occasion, and only cost me $24.99 ($20 if you can catch them on sale, which is rare). I feel so much better about summer with these in my closet.
