Beautiful, bold and just in time for fall
I don’t wear a lot of mineral makeup, mostly because it often doesn’t have the staying power I need to make it through a full day of work. However, in an attempt to go more “chemical free” I’ve been wanting to dive into the mineral world. Youngblood Cosmetics was a perfect place to start and their new fall line up had me swooning with some amazing fall colors.
Going for Glamour is their latest fall collection and, wow, what a beautiful palette of colors. Youngblood Cosmetics founder Pauline says they can be “worn sheer at work, or layered for a more eye catching look.” And, as always, these products are paraben, talc, oil, fragrance and cruelty free.
The collection includes a gorgeous Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad, a Pressed Mineral Blush, and a Lipgloss all of which coordinate together for a great fall look. The blush and eyeshadow compacts are a nice size and come in sleek compacts, with a magnetic closure, that really made them quick and easy to use.
While I was so impressed with the entire collection, the Glamour Eyes Eyeshadow Quad ($43) was my favorite. With four dramatic colors, this has got to be my favorite fall combo yet!
Enticing – cashmere taupe
Alluring – warm chocolate
Stunning – denim blue
Charming – ice blue
Glamour Eyes Quad: Enticing, Alluring, Stunning, Charming
Enticing and Alluring made for a beautiful, warm brown combination and Stunning and Charming were the prettiest, icy blue combo I’ve seen in awhile. I also found the staying power was better than I expected. While they didn’t last quite as long as some of my other shadows, they did hold out for a few hours and still looked nice, even after they faded slightly.
The Pressed Mineral Blush in Temptress ($25), is a stunning cranberry with gold flecks, and will be a blush I reach for all fall.
The gold flecks are VERY subtle and this blush gives me a soft, rich glow. Temptress was a nice change from the brighter colors I use, and will work with a variety of skin tones. It can also be used on eyes or lips for a natural flush of color.
Last, but certainly not least, the Youngblood Lipgloss in Siren ($23) was another stunner. A deep burgundy, with a shimmer, it can be worn alone or on top of a lipstick for an extra punch.
I loved Siren worn all alone and found it was dark enough to give me a great flushed lip. The gloss has a nice texture too… creamy and light. My only complaint, I wish it lasted a little longer, but since I loved it so much I had no problem lathering it on all day!

Final verdict? Youngblood Cosmetics has won me over. A mineral makeup that’s good for me, gorgeous and has a decent staying power… you will love this fall collection!

I had the pleasure of testing another Youngblood collection earlier this year, and I’m a big fan. The colors in the shadow palette are gorgeous—glad to hear they had staying power, too, @spitfire77 . I’m very tempted by everything in this beautiful fall collection!
Great review @spitfire77! The eyeshadow palette is so pretty for fall…but that BLUSH! Wow, it’s gorgeous!
Youngblood is righteous! I love the few items I have too. This looks like an amazing palette for right now! The lip-gloss in Siren is so loudly calling my name! Pretty, pretty, pretty!
I was able to try out the Youngblood primer a few months ago and liked it a lot. And the Stunning and Charming shadows look so wintry and pretty!
@spitfire77, you have my tongue hanging out. I’m trying to hold on to the last vestiges of summer, but these rich hues have me yearning for them! I’ve used Youngblood blush before and enjoyed it; this shade is a heart-stopper! What gorgeous goodies . . .
Love, love, love this collection. The colors are great and have a surprising amount of pigment for a mineral makeup! The compacts are really nice too, with the magnet clasp and sleek, smooth size.
I occasionally use mineral makeup (MAC Mineralize Skinfinish powder mostly), but I’ve heard really good things about Youngblood cosmetics. That lipgloss does look perfect for fall!
Youngblood glosses are the best!
