FabFitFun Winter 2014 VIP box

Let’s delve right in to this big ol’ box of fun!

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive

If you’re a regular reader, you know by now that there’s always at least one item in the VIP boxes that’s a greater value than the price of the box itself. It makes the purchase kind of a no brainer, right? Then, there are always a few items with values that hover right around the cost of the box. In this box there are SEVEN items that are worth about the same price of the box, bringing its value to a grand total of $384!

Tibetan Goji Berry Eye Serum

The biggie in this box is Tibetan Goji Berry Eye Serum, an $88 value. This lightweight gel-cream serum uses energizing gojiberry with vitamins A and C to “diminish fine lines and wrinkles, stimulate collagen and elastin while repairing and restoring the delicate eye area.” I love the instant pick-me-up this gives my eyes.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive

It’s always nice to see a product I know and love in the VIP Box. This time its the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Sensitive ($39). Certified organic, it exfoliates with a mixture of fruit acid complex and raw cane sugar to reduce breakouts, discolorations and fine lines. I LOVE this stuff!

Daniel Stone COCO Coconut Wax Body Candle

It’s like the next two products were selected with me specifically in mind. Screw raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens; hand cream and candles are two of my favorite things! (Ok, maybe whiskers on kittens too…)

The Daniel Stone COCO Coconut Wax Body Candle ($42) in White Tea and Ginger Root is a light, spicy beauty. It uses coconut wax, which not only provides a clean burn, but is also a sustainable wax resource.

AHA Hand Crème with Evening Primrose

Straight outta Pasadena, Lather makes amazing products that are favorites of smart women everywhere (like me and Oprah…but me first). The AHA Hand Crème with Evening Primrose ($18) has a light, herb/floral scent, is uber moisturizing and helps to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and age spots. This is one of those “where have you been all my life?” kind of products.

Swedish Beauty Eyeshadow Kit

And while it’s always nice to see some favorite brands, it’s also fun to make new discoveries too.

Half United Fighting Hunger Necklace

I’m loving the edgy but do-gooding Half United Fighting Hunger Necklace ($34). Half United gives half of their profits to feed children in need. You’ll fine mens and women’s clothing and accessories, along with this iconic bullet shell necklace that fights hunger (get it?)

yourMinerals Eye Shadow duo

The yourMinerals Eye Shadow duo ($44) are loose pigments made with natural ingredients by a Swedish company. I received Swedish Winter and Lavender Dream, two shimmery and finely milled shadows.

Organic Valley Milk Protein Shake, a Special K Chocolatey Pretzel Cereal Bar and a sample of Justin's Almond Butter

They never leave you hanging without a snack either! You’ll find a Organic Valley Milk Protein Shake, a Special K Chocolatey Pretzel Cereal Bar and a sample of Justin’s Almond Butter – all delicious!

Winter VIP box

There are gift cards and special codes galore in the Winter VIP box…

The Salted 3 month subscription ($30) allows you take cooking classes at home. I’ve got my eye on the Grilled Cheese Master class and the Essential Sauces of Cooking.

You get a 60-minute Zumba DVD and a $25 gift card. I’m excited to update my ratty workout gear!

And finally, a $30 gift card to Fashion Project. Here you can both donate clothing and shop for causes you care about, and get something super cute to boot!

  1. Wow, that’s a whole lot of goodies squeezed into one little box! Call me a copycat, but the candle and the Lather AHA Hand Crème are the two items that kick up my temptation level the most. It’s going to be hard to resist this purchase… maybe I should just skip the debate and give in now!

  2. Gotta say, the FabFitFun boxes are becoming my fave subscription boxes of all! They ALWAYS have a few products I already know and love that make the box worth it – and then I always find new discoveries that make me happy.

I have not tried the Lather AHA Hand Creme – yet. But I was just at their gorgeous shop in Pasadena and wanted everything in the store! Their hand cut soaps are incredible – so yummy smelling and full of good stuff.

Also, if you haven’t tried the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel, what are you waiting for? It is ah-mazing! My skin loves it.

  3. Ugh, I wish I had extra bucks this month to splurge, great deal, I want to try everything in it!

  4. I absolutely adore FabFitFun! I am so happy I took your advise! I loved – LOVED this box!!! (So much, I ordered a second)! If you want an outstanding beauty box that’s filled with a lot more than just random beauty products, this is it!!!
