Here’s a look at my three current beauty crushes…

Kiehl's Calendula Collection

Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask ($45)
If you have spent any time with me at all (either virtually or actually), you know I love Calendula. Part flower, part medicinal herb; it helps heal cuts, burns, diaper rash, insect bites, acne and more. I have been a fan ever since I first discovered Kiehl’s Calendula Toner about 20 years ago. It’s been my #1 holy grail beauty item from that moment on.

Kiehl’s added a Deep Cleansing Foaming Facial Wash a few years ago, which I use in the summer when my oily skin is acting up. And now, I have a new member in my Calendula army…

Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask

Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask is aptly named. It’s a comforting gel mask with a cooling effect, perfect for when your skin is in distress. I think of it this way: if acne is the wound, Calendula Toner is the medicine and this Mask is the band aid. You know how good putting aloe on a burn is? Yeah, that’s what this feels like; one giant “ahhhh.”

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Oil Dry Oil Finishing Spray

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Oil Dry Oil Finishing Spray ($34)
I love using oils when styling my color-treated hair. The only problem is that it’s VERY easy to use too much, changing it from looking “nourished” to “dirty” in an instant. Bumble and Bumble solved that with their Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Dry Oil Finishing Spray.

Their original Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil contains six oils (argan, coconut, macadamia nut, sweet almond, safflower seed and grapeseed) that smell delicious and smooth like crazy. The Dry Oil Finishing Spray blends those same six oils into an ultra-light mist that also offers UV protection. It tames frizz, makes your hair amazingly soft and reduces the risk of overdoing it exponentially (I think that may be an oxymoron, but you know what I mean!)

Sara Happ The Sweet Clay Lip Mask

Sara Happ The Sweet Clay Lip Mask ($32)
I have no doubt you know and love Sara Happ’s The Lip Scrub. But have you seen her latest product, The Sweet Clay Lip Mask? As delicious as her scrubs are, this is BETTER.

Made with Bentonite Clay and Swertiamarin (from the plant Swertia), the bright pink, frosting-like mask is sweet to use, literally. It never dries on your lips, so you can use it as often as you’d like, for as long as you want. And it leaves your lips super soft without any manual labor. Not that I still love a good scrub, but this is more of a relaxing way to pamper your lips. I’m obsessed with it!

  1. What? How have I missed this mask!! First thing tomorrow morning, I’m in the store! I’m so excited to get some too!!

  2. Have been dying to try the SH lip mask and you just sealed the deal for me! And I’m crushing on: Orange Blossom Body and Soul Spray by Nest (it’s sweet and sunny and layers so nicely w/anything vanilla); Bite Beauty’s Prismatic Pearl Creme gloss in Rose Pearl (like mermaid scales on your lips!) and OMG I love this stuff: Royal Jelly Nighttime Rejuvenation Treatment by the Savannah Bee Company. It is chock full of propolis and honey and it plumps the skin up beautifully.

  3. I heart Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing foaming face wash–it removes every trace of makeup, it’s like magic!

My current loves are Soap & Glory Orangeasm body wash and body butter–the orange fragrance is a delight, the body wash lathers like a champ and the body butter absorbs quickly and leaving my skin baby soft. I’m also loving Wander Beauty’s powder foundation–it’s full coverage and I don’t even need concealer when I use it. It keeps shine at bay and hides all imperfections while managing to not look cakey–I think wizards made it. Rounding out my current loves is Alterna’s 48-hour Sustainable Volume Spray. I put a little at my roots and my baby fine hair has Cindy Crawford circa 1993 body and bounce.

  4. I think I NEED that dry oil finishing spray. My poor over-bleached hair need some love, but I either tend to not apply enough product (ew straw-like hair) or I put too much (ew greasy hair).

    1. I think it comes in a travel size too, check it out!
