That and more in The Lipstick League, week of 2.29.16

Question of the Week: Which shower gels/body washes/soaps are currently in your shower?

Answer: I have more body washes in my shower than one family could possible need. But ever since Dove Dry Oil Moisture body wash showed up, all others are pushed aside. If you have dry skin, you NEED this! Formulated with argan oil, it produces a lush, foamy bubble that feels noticeably hydrating. Bonus, it smells amazing; warm and slightly sweet (argan oil fans/lovers will be familiar with the scent). It comes in a Beauty Bar too, so even soap fans can get in on the action. This is a bonafide drugstore must-have. (around $8 for a huge 22oz bottle)

  1. I currently have a jumbo pump bottle of a 3-in-1 from Trader Joe’s in my shower. It vaguely smells like melon, the scent doesn’t linger all day, and it’s great on my sensitive skin. And weirdly, I can actually use it as a shampoo—most 3-in-1’s are too harsh for my hair, but this one gently cleanses. Best $7.99 I’ve spent in a long time :)

  2. I want to try the Dove body wash–I really like the Dove lotion that has oil in it. I always have multiple body washes going at once, because I’m ridiculous. Currently: Julep cleansing oil, the Body Shop’s Chocomania, some organic lemon/coconut stuff, and Dr. Bronner’s in Green Tea.

  3. I’ve recently been taking a few products for a test drive in my shower: LATHER charcoal & tea tree facial soap, Arbonne Sea Mud Face & Body Mask, and LUSH Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask. Murad Acne Body Wash is my go-to.
