Enhance your lashes a little…or a lot with Eylure

False eyelashes. Aside from a bit of testing here and there for we heart this, it is unknown territory to me. When I found out I was on falsies duty, I got a bit nervous because of my lack of experience with them. I’ve seen lots of reality shows where overemotional girls break down and their fake eyelashes end up halfway off and…you know what I’m talking about.

Despite all my hesitations, I had so much fun playing around with these lashes by Eylure. I learned how quickly false eyelashes can fix up a look and take you from day to night in a jiffy.

You may have heard of Eylure, or at least have seen their products in stores practically everywhere. This European brand started out in 1947 and is popular worldwide for their false eyelash selection as well as their recent Katy Perry collaboration. The wht team was happy to receive the Eylure Naturalites Lashes and their super cute Katy Perry Lashes to test.

If you love a light, natural feel to your lashes then you will love their Naturalites line. I tested two Naturalites styles and eyeliner isn’t even needed here to rock these lashes.

I found that Naturalites Style 155 ($4.99) was definitely more of a daytime lash. Of the two I was naturally drawn to 155 because even though they are more natural, they still provided a lot more length to my real lashes.

Naturalites Style 156 is definitely more of a va-va-voom nighttime lash. This set is really unique, with a mix of long and short full lashes. Both sets were lightweight, feathery and felt really good on my lash line.

Next up I tried two sets from Eylure’s Katy Perry line. All of the lashes in this line are handmade and 100% natural. The packaging for her lashes is too adorable, right? They cost just a bit more but I think they are worth it.

Fun fact: Katy learned how to apply false eyelashes by watching Youtube tutorials! Ah, something we can all relate to.

I first tried the Sweetie Pie set ($6.99). This is the daintiest pair from the Katy Perry line, and also the most natural I’ve ever seen on me.

This set is so natural, that I don’t even look like I’m wearing falsies…but that I was born with pretty, perfectly curled lashes. This was the pair that I felt confident strolling into the grocery store and not look like I’m heading out for the night.

The next pair I tried is called Oh Honey! ($6.99) These were really fun: more dramatic in length but not too heavy on the volume. I loved how these looked with my eye shape!

Pros:
All Eylure lashes come with a tube of lash glue and instructions, making application a breeze.
A wide range of lashes to try, depending on your desired look!
Easy to apply, once you get the hang of it.
They are reusable and contact lens friendly!

Cons:
None that I can think of…these are awesome lashes!

  1. @mandabear, I LOVE the look of these lashes! I have worn false eyelashes with Halloween costumes and loved the look, and the lighter ones seem so natural and pretty. “Oh, Honey,” this pair is amazing on you! I am going to incorporate this into my routine; I doubt that I will ever find a mascara to give me the length and volume I need (this, as I’ve tried a thousand).

    1. Thank you for the kind words! I love how they look too! The Katy Perry line is all so adorable.

  2. I tested the Eylure lashes in 155 – the lighter set of lashes. I was skeptical -it has been MANY years since I have worn false eyelashes, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were easy to apply, felt good, stayed on, and made me feel super sexy for a date with my hubby! I highly recommend them.

    1. I love that there are so many wearable options. They simply enhance without making you look too cray. :)

  3. Great review! I also tested Eylure Naturalites in the light, natural-looking 155. I was so impressed with the quality of these lashes, and can’t believe they’re under $5! I’ve gotten several wears out of the set and they still have life left in them. I usually choose dramatic lashes if I’m wearing falsies, but 155 is so light and understated, I’d feel comfortable wearing them during the day. Highly recommended!

Your “Oh Honey” lashes do look lovely, @mandabear !

    1. Thank you @turboterp! You’re so right – I think the price point is so amazing for the quality/re-wearability with these lashes.

  4. Cuuute :) I love wearing false lashes but they can be a little uncomfortable and difficult to put on if you haven’t practiced or aren’t doing any of the great tips and tricks out there! I usually buy cheapie ones at random places… I’ve bought a dozen pairs for less than $10 on ebay, and a $2 pair from rue 21 that I loved.

    1. I think cheap is the way to go if you aren’t looking for a particular artsy look. So convenient that these are right over at the drugstore!
