Get ready to ooohh and aaahh wht readers! Our next suggestion, number 4 of our Ten Last Minute Holiday Gifts at Sephora list will leave you spellbound. Just like a beloved fairy tale, the Enchanted Glamourland set from Too Faced will have you believing in magic!
This fairy tale of a makeup collection, like my most read childhood favorites, first draws you in with its intriguing cover, which promises a magical world filled with pretty and surprising colors (pink trees!), glittering princesses and pixies and lots of sparkle. And once you open the cover – you’re done for – dropped into a dreamy, magical world and its dazzling inhabitants…
The book sized, Enchanted Glamourland set from Too Faced opens to reveal a pop-up world of a grown up fairy tale complete with lingerie clad fairies with sparkling wings and just the right amount of pixie dust. For while there is plenty of glitter, this set is for big girls too, with lots of everyday uses.
For starters, if you can peel your eyes away from the mesmerizing packaging, you’ll notice our first two two products ‘hidden’ in plain view, pans of La Vie en Rose Blush and Snow Bunny Bronze.
Snow Bunny is a great winter bronzer, with light hues and a bit of shimmer to brighten winter faces. If you’re fair you can use this all year – medium to dark tones will love it as a highlighter for cheeks, eyes and more.
Meanwhile the bright and warm burst of pure pink from the La Vie en Rose Blush looks like it will work with almost any skin tone to add a pink cheeked, just-in-from-the-snow, glow to your face.
And it just gets better! Pull the pink cord on the side to reveal…
A palette full of makeup goodies, fit for a princess, fairy or any winter sprite!
At the top of the palette a full size Glamour Gloss in ‘Pillow Talk’ (a soft mauve shimmer) and a full size Shadow Insurance (an eye primer that helps prevent creasing and fading) – they retail for $19 and $18 respectively, so this charming set (just $49) is a great deal as well.
The Shadow Insurance will be put to good use prepping eyes for all these shadows:
Enchanted Glamourland contains 15 Eye Shadows, including four hues created especially for this collection and not available individually (they are all entitled ‘Exclusive’ in the above photo). The super smooth and nicely pigmented shades range from lights through darks with a mixture of both matte and shimmery formulas. You’ll be able to create a lot of looks with this one, encompassing collection of shadows.

My BFF’s bought this for me for my birthday in October, and I loooove it. The eyeshadows are gorgeous colors, pigmented and smooth. Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance is a fantastic product. The lipgloss color is gorgeous and neutral (although the taste/scent is a little weird to me). The blush and bronzer are a bit sheer on me, but workable. Overall, this product is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I’m kind of obsessed with it. And, it’s adorable! The cute/sexy pop-up fairies are really a fun touch.
I must be living under a rock because this is the first time I have seen this wonderful gem. It literally has everything any girl could want. The packaging along makes this a perfect gift.
Wow, this set is amazing! I particularly like the La Vie en Rose Blush, which is a perfect color for me. Too Faced always has such gorgeous gift sets, I’m in awe by the size of this one. I just purchased a couple gifts at sephora.com but I may have to make a repeat trip there…especially if they’re offering a free stocking stuffer!
Saw this set online and came so close to getting it. This would make a perfect gift for a makeup loving friend. So pretty!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Too Faced Shadow Insurance. How does it stack up against UD’s primer potion (which I have to admit, I’m not the biggest fan of. I feel like their is something wrong with me for that!
Too Faced always has such cute packaging. @Stef – I am a fan of the Too Faced Shadow Insurance! To be honest I can’t tell a huge difference between the two but I think Shadow Insurance is slightly thicker but spreads to a thinner consistency when you use it. Only a little is needed. I’ve received tiny sample sized versions of it through various Too Faced orders in the past + it’s perfect for travel :)
@Stef, comparing the regular versions of Urban Decay’s Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I would say I prefer TF Shadow Insurance. While UD’s Primer Potion has adorable packaging, TF’s squeeze tube is more practical in terms of getting out all of the product. UD Primer Potion also occasionally dries out my eyelids and makes them a bit itchy, but that’s pretty rare. One advantage for UD Primer Potion is that I love the “Eden” shade. Both perform equally well in terms of preventing creasing, and I have really really oily eyelids (I actually put a different primer on each eyelid and tested it out)!
The packaging is adorable. I’m not really one for overly girly things, but I still think its cute anyway!
And I’ve been looking for a new primer…I might have to look into the Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
Oh! The packaging is gorgeous, and that eyeshadow palette has me hyperventilating! I guess I should be telling everyone I want Sephora gift cards for Christmas this year!
That packaging is SO pretty! I just bought a Too Faced palette for myself (in Naked), because the packaging is adorable and the shadow quality is amazing!
@kirstengail – I’m not much for super girly either. And I’m also not a huge fan of overly packaged palettes. But the colors in this are so pretty, and the shadows are very nicely pigmented.
This would be perfect for your most girly friend!
@mandabear and @lipglossandspandex – thanks for the comparisons. I think I need to give Shadow Insurance a try (I find primer potion drying too).
This is just too cute…really fun to play with. I love how creative they were with this packaging. Great colors…I do well with this palette.
TooFaced continues to win a bigger and bigger place in my heart. Serious makeup fans might be tempted to pass it by since the packaging is so kitschy and seemingly teen-oriented but they back up their stuff with some seriously awesome products!!! I love the amount of product in this set. I just hate that the package is so big, it is hard to travel with.
This set is so cute! I’ve got a $50 gift card and I can’t decide what to spend it on, something like this might just be perfect tho!
I just love fairies!!! And Too Faced is always amazing! I have been dying to try their Eye Shadow Insurance. This set seems like a win-win for me or just about anyone else! I am in love with it!!!!!!!!
