IT Cosmetics has long been my go-to line for dependable color products, and quickly became my go-to for skincare as well!
Affordable, accessible, and most of all powerful, IT Cosmetics’ skincare range entrances me a little more with each release. The latest product I tested, IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser ($28, 5.0oz), has added excitement to my skincare routine with its creamy, pampering, anti-aging formula!
You might think I’m getting a little worked up over a mere cleanser.
To that, I say, HA!
For skin like mine—combination leaning towards dryness– Confidence in a Cleanser is a game changer. It actually blends cleanser with treatment serum into one step, allowing me to cleanse and moisturize simultaneously.
IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser Review
IT Cosmetics develops all of their makeup and skincare products alongside plastic surgeons, which probably explains why Confidence in a Cleanser was a home run in clinical tests.
Check out these results:
- 100% showed improved hydration
- 100% say skin felt completely clean
- 89% felt an immediate skin-softening effect
- 83% say skin looked and felt rejuvenated
The product is a bargain, too, considering how concentrated it is. I use about a dime-sized amount, massaging it on my wet skin for about 30 seconds before rinsing.
IT Cosmetics says the cleanser will leave skin “perfectly balanced,” and that’s just the way I’d describe it, too. It cleans without stripping moisture from the skin, but doesn’t leave residue either—exactly what I want from a moisturizing cleanser.
One thing about creamy cleaners, you generally shouldn’t use them to remove eye makeup unless you want to stumble around with blurry vision afterward.
Confidence in a Cleanser even has that covered; unlike other moisturizing cleansers, this one can be used in the eye area with no problem at all. It’s even ophthalmologist-tested for eye safety.
I do end up using a separate makeup remover around my eyes to get every last trace of makeup, and a swipe of toner on my oily t-zone, but that’s just my personal preference. For everyday makeup, this would probably suffice alone.
Sulfate-free and soap-free. Packed full of good stuff like anti-aging collagen, hyaluronic acid, colloidal oatmeal, ceramide complex, and IT Cosmetics’ proprietary Anti-Aging Armour Rejuvenating Concentrate. Smells a little bit like grapefruit, too!
This is a great addition to the Confidence line. I can’t wait to see what IT Cosmetics comes up with next! we heartsters, what’s your Holy Grail IT product? Share in the comments!
