That and more in The Lipstick League, week of 4.25.16
Question of the Week: Sandal Season is rapidly approaching in the Western Hemisphere (you may already be wearing sandals as I type this). So let’s hear it: what do you do to get your feet ready for their big spring/summer reveal?
Answer: I’m a big fan of the pumice sponge (also called a pumice bar). Oh so different than a pumice stone! You know what I mean, these are the multi-colored scrubbers they use in nail salons. And when I really need the big guns, I use ProLinc Callus Eliminator. This stuff will eat your fingertips off (seriously, you need gloves) but nothing works as good on dry heels.
Here’s what happened with The League last week…

My Beauty Bunny is Currently Craving: the Viseart Theory Palette in “Minx” ($45). It’s so pretty and both the shimmery and matte earth tone colors look super intense!
we heartsters, what do you do to get your feet ready for their big spring/summer reveal?
I just purchased Amope Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File and Callus Remover last week! It works like a charm on my VERY needy feet! I go barefoot often so I have lots of calluses! I am ready for summer!
I double up with my PedEgg (those grater looking thingies) and a pumice stone. I’ll grate off my calluses (way less painful than it sounds, I swear), take a nice, hot bath, pumice the softened skin, then I slather on some heavy duty cream and sleep with socks on. By morning, it’s like I have brand new feet! I am SO ready for sandal season!!!
I’ve got my corn pads ready! Sheesh, I am my mother. And I love those sandals @stef!
