Decisions in life are not always as simple as black and white. The reality is that lines are often blurred. The same can be true with beauty products. Take for example IT Cosmetics Blurred Lines Smooth Fill Lipstick ($24), their latest formula.
Blurred Lines is an anti-aging formula that minimizes the appearance of fine lip lines and evens out your lip tone. It glides on and feels like a luscious lip treatment, as it is VERY hydrating. Ingredients like Collagen, Peptides, Hyaluronic Filling Spheres, Shea Butter, Jojoba and Grape Seed Extract make this product like a little lip spa in a tube!
The trade off is that they’re not very pigmented. Which is fine, sometimes you want a softer look and Blurred Lines delivers. But a word of caution, it’s also has a soft consistency. So don’t twist it all the way up and apply or you’ll break it. (Don’t you hate when you do that?!)
It’s available in the following shades:
• Brave – sheer bold red
• Love – mauve sheer rose
• Perfect Nude – sheer nude flush
• IT Girl – true vibrant red
• Daring – brownish plum
• Believe – sheer berry flush
• Live – soft sheer pink
• Naturally Pretty – soft natural pink
• Ruby Slippers – sheer red flush
I got to try Love, Brave and Perfect Nude, all very flattering shades. This formula did not crease, crack or feather, but wasn’t particularly long lasting either. However, my lips have a tendency to absorb product and nothing lasts, so you might have slightly better results.
I have been fighting allergies lately and my lips have been dry. I am amazed at how this really filled in my chapped lips. Because as we all know, chapped lips are not exactly youthful or a sign of vitality! Blurred Lines gave my lips a great boost, which in turn gave me added confidence.
You can get these three shades, Love, Brave and Perfect Nude, as a trio on QVC for $36, which is a $36 savings.
All in all, I love this product and am glad to have it in my beauty arsenal.
