It’s summer and the sun is out and shining! For most folks, that means a gorgeous, bronze glow…unless you could double as Casper The Friendly Ghost. This girl doesn’t tan, folks. She doesn’t get bronze; she gets various shades of lobster. Not a good look, y’all.
Having my pigment-challenged back is IT Cosmetics, of course. Their latest crush-worthy product is IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Glow Skin-Transforming Healthy Flush Blushing Bronzer ($32). It’s a 3-in-1 highlighter, blush and bronzer, all in one MASSIVE palette.
My first impression upon seeing this palette is that it is HUGE. The laminated cardboard compact is topped with a chic silver coin with the IT logo and the reminder that this line is developed with plastic surgeons and has clinical results (so you know what’s inside is gonna be good.)
Opening the palette, you are faced with a generous mirror and a pan of gorgeous color that looks like the prettiest sunset you’ve ever seen! It’s a gradient blend of shades that from left to right contains highlighter, blush and bronzer. And upon taking a sniff, I am faced with the smell of oranges and sunshine—can you say “heaven”? Why have none of my blushes been orange-scented until now? This blush addict is swooning…
The glow-boosting palette contains several good-for-you ingredients such as Vitamin C, Aloe and Hyaluronic acid, so it’s anti-aging and helps give a younger, more airbrushed appearance on top of delivering gorgeous pigment. It’s available in 3 shades…

Instant Natural Glow–a natural rosy flush and boost of warmth
Instant Nude Glow–the softest, sheerest natural glow
Instant Warm Glow–a rich bronze with a pretty pop of coral
These palettes wear extremely well on my oily skin–easily all-day wear with no touch-ups necessary. My personal favorite is the Instant Nude Glow. On my very fair skin, it gives me a subtle natural color that makes my features pop. I have worn this solo, with no other makeup, and it gives me a really impactful beauty boost with minimal effort.
The Instant Natural Glow palette delivers a gorgeous, rosy blush–it really duplicates what I look like after a day at the beach. Instant Warm Glow is for you coral lovers out there—the bronzer on this one is a little bold, so use a gentle hand when you apply it.
I must say, I usually am not one for special brushes. I have more makeup brushes than I know what to do with and I hesitate to splurge on a brush that might only work for one product, but in this case, I will make an exception. The Confidence In Your Glow palettes works best with the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin One Sweep Wonder #705 brush ($48).
It’s as wide as the pan of color and has dual fiber hairs, a tapered head and shorter handle–it makes application goof-proof (and works well on other blushes and bronzers that are in equally large pans). You swipe right to left and then start at the part of your cheeks closest to your nose and then sweep up the cheekbone to the hairline. The end result is airbrushed, glowing perfection. Be warned, the harder you press, the more color you’re going to get. These are highly pigmented palettes, so start with a light hand.
Overall, I’m loving these new beauties. Even on days I don’t feel like a full face of makeup, I keep reaching for Instant Nude Glow because it really perks up my face. Even though I don’t have the best of luck with bronzers, the highlighter and blush in this palette creates a harmonious pop of color.
