We here at we heart this are in the midst of a full-blown love affair with IT Cosmetics. I really think they can do no wrong at this point! If you looked at my everyday makeup, it’s about 70% IT Cosmetics, and for good reason.
Winning my heart, yet again, is the IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Essentials Matte Luxe Transforming Eyeshadow Palette ($28). This palette is made up of six gorgeous full-sized matte shadows and one large pan of Transforming Hello Light, which can transform the matte shades into satin. With this tiny powerhouse palette you can go from day to night with glamorous ease.
The dainty pink palette is nicely cushioned and has a very secure magnetic closure, which makes this great for on the go. Ditto on the generously sized mirror inside. The seven pans of color are as follows:
Imagine–Matte silk beige
Wonder–Matte nude khaki
Dream— Matte desert sand
Passion–Matte nude taupe
Intrigue–Matte earthy sepia
Allure–Matte smoky gray
Transforming Hello Light–Radiant pearl
These talc-free shadows apply beautifully–they’re super silky and buttery smooth. I’m always impressed with how pigmented IT Cosmetics’ products are in general and these shadows are no exception. Even better is that the pigment on the darkest shades is extremely buildable–a little gives you subtle shading and a lot gives you all the drama you could hope for.
I think one of the best things about IT’s eyeshadows is their formula. These contain hydrolyzed collagen, silk, peptides and their proprietary No-Tug Technology. That means they glide on effortlessly and blend like a dream and help smooth out a crepe-y eyelid. It literally doesn’t get any better than that, ladies. Oh, wait, YES IT DOES! These are anti-aging, too. BOOM! *drops mic*
Imagine, Wonder and Dream; applied alone and with Transforming Hello Light on top
My personal favorites from this set are Dream all over the eyelid and then Allure blended into the crease. Transforming Hello Light gets the MVP award by highlighting my brow bone and the inner corners of my eyes. It creates such a natural look that really emphasizes my hazel peepers and lasts for the better part of a day (which is miraculous on my oily lids). This is such a great, everyday palette and I find myself reaching for it more often than not.

As someone who owns IT Cosmetics’ Naturally Pretty Must Haves Eyeshadow Palette, I was a little on the fence about another palette that had similar shades. However, the Pretty Essentials Palette is unique in its own right. You will find that this palette is different enough to warrant the splurge, especially for Allure (Best. Matte. Gray. EVER.)
we heartsters, do you have any IT Cosmetics eye makeup favorites in your arsenal? Let’s hear about it in the comments section!
So pretty! I love the idea of all the matte neutrals in one place!
hmmmm….interesting. Great colors and impressive formula too. I think its a must try.
This looks like the perfect everyday palette. I love the idea of all mattes with the option to gleam them up a little bit! I do love IT Cosmetics!
LOVE this set! The colors look so pretty, IT never disappoints, and I really need a new matte grey!
I am always thrilled with IT products!! They are top notch! I was thrilled with my last IT eye shadow palette. The shadows are so smooth. I love the colors of this palette and can’t wait to get my hands on one. Gorgeous!!!
I have the IT build a brow brush and it is the most fantastic brow brush I have ever used.
At first glance it appears similar to every other dual ended brow brush but the angled brush is notched so you can get a variety of effects and create a natural look very quickly. It actually looks like hairs when you hold it vertically and brush sideways, it draws in little hair-like strokes! It is awesome.
The spoolie side is the best spoolie I’ve used as well, it is very firm and hasn’t gotten dirty or soft yet and I’ve been using it for 6 months.
The build a brow gel is great too but my brows are very cool toned and it’s hard to match me with their shades. It’s actually a fiber gel for brows like a fiber mascara!
I can’t get enough of IT Cosmetics!!! And $28 seems pretty reasonable for an eyeshadow palette with that kind of quality.
I haven’t disliked any of the IT Cosmetics products that I’ve tried, but my FAVORITES are their cruelty-free and super soft brushes (alllllll of them), their Tightline Mascara, and their Bye Bye Undereye concealer.
