Let me set the scene. It’s a beautiful sunny day in the gardens of the historic and castle-like Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. A tray of bellinis passes by, the scent of flowers wafts through the air and in the distance, a bobbed-vision of a loveliness in baby blue tulle appears.

The locale was the launch luncheon for the LC Lauren Conrad Cinderella collection for Kohl’s, and to say it was magical would be an understatement.

The 24 piece collection, launched at the end of February, is a girl’s dream. I mean really, who hasn’t wanted to be Cinderella at some point in her life? You’ll find light washes of pink and blue, pastel florals, delicate bows and a smattering of sequins. Decidingly romantic touches fashioned for modern day princesses.

Some of the standouts lined the garden on vintage dress forms…

It’s the first in a line of Disney collections that LC will design for Kohl’s. Alice in Wonderland? The Little Mermaid? OMG…Bambi! My mind reels thinking about what’s next.

Three of my favorite pieces from the Cinderella collection are:

Baby Blue scalloped ballet flats (check out the DIY we did with them below!) – on sale for $36.99 (originally $49.99)

The t-shirts are especially adorable; super soft rayon and with a variety of prints, including the castle from the original 50’s animated version and a script font “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” – on sale for $33 (originally $44)

The printed tulle skirt is on its way to me! I can’t wait to pair it with a white t-shirt and a jean jacket – on sale for $48 (originally $64)

Check out how pretty the event was…

  1. I’ve always wanted to go to Greystone – what a perfect occasion to have there!

Her flats are my go-tos – cute, comfortable, and affordable. What more can you ask for?!

  2. I was never what you would consider a girly-girl, princessy type – BUT this line is winning me over. I love the floaty tulle blue skirt Lauren wore to the event – and the printed one is like a walking Monet (and NOT in a Clueless sense). It’s so pretty.

Also? Viva la flats @heather! I am terrible in heels and love cute, slip on flats – will have to check hers out.

  3. I love the girliness of tulle! I would love, LOVE to have one of these for spring…I have many brunches to eat in the coming months. I’ll head out this weekend (I hope they have some left)!

  4. This event looks like so much fun! And the clothing line is beautiful!

  5. This event looks amazing!! LC’s collection looks beautiful and whimsical!! Gotta love the tulle skirts.

  6. Well that looks like an awesome afternoon, @stef! *JEALOUSY* :P
I shop from the LC by Lauren Conrad collection every so often, but it’s been a few months since I last looked at her pieces at Kohl’s. I’ll be sure to check out the Cinderella collection. I have to say, the budget-loving gal that I am loves her pieces because they frequently dupe Anthropologie (my precioussssss) pieces at a fraction of the cost. Her costume jewelry is always on trend, too. Love it!

  7. Adorable pieces, especially the tulle skirt. What a cute party! The prices are a little high for me, but Krista has a good point about them being a fraction of the price of other similar products.

  8. What a fun event! The baby blue ballet flats are perfect, even without the adorable decoration. And there’s something about tulle that makes anyone feel a little princess-like!

  9. Omg, how cool, what a fun event!! Love the slippers! The tulle skirt is so pretty… Being that I have seen Frozen over 100 times with the little princess in my house, I want to see an Elsa and Anna inspired wardrobe… I’m thinking fun winter hats, gloves, sweaters lol
