Question of the Week: If you could only keep ONE makeup brush in your collection, which brush would you cling to for dear life?
Answer: Tyna says: This one is HARD. But today, I would put up a fight before letting go of my new tarte Deluxe Airbrush Finish Foundation Brush from their fab 8th World Wonder kit. Unlike most flat foundation brushes that “paints” your color onto the skin, this super soft, extra full and fluffy brush buffs my tinted moisturizers into a practically flawless, super natural finish. I don’t know how I lived without it.

we heartsters: If you could only keep ONE makeup brush in your collection, which would it be?
Definitely a fluffy blending brush for the eyes like the Smashbox eyeshadow blending brush. I use my hands a lot (yes, clean ones), but a fluffy blending brush for the eyes can multitask. It can plot down color for the eyes and blend eyeshadows, be used as a concealer brush AND be used as a blush brush if you give yourself enough patience (although I’d just use my fingers knowing me).
Boy, I can’t believe that answer cam so quickly…
I really don’t know if I could even pick just one makeup brush! Probably a medium eye shadow brush that could be used on browbone, crease, outer-V and lid. I could get by w/eyeliner pencils instead of gel (*tear*), and use sponges or fingers for concealer and foundation.
I want one of those @tyna- Tarte Deluxe Airbrush Finish Foundation Brush sounds so divine, I want it to be mine.. poet that I am.. but I must say that I would not like to be without my liquid eyeliner brush from MAC.. I’ve had it for a good 10 years! Wow!
Hmmm…if I have to pick one, we are talking end of days scenario here…I am torn between my concealer brush (how could you cover the tiniest of spots with your finger?) and my big fluffy bronzer brush…albeit boring, I choose the concealer brush to use with my fave, Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage!
I love my BE Kabuki brush! BE brushes are amazingly soft and are the best for my Mineral Veil. But I am also a huge fan of just about any Eco Tools brush. I use a variety of them daily!
